Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that transmits both electrical power and network data over an ethernet cable. With PoE, each Ethernet interface of LAN switches can supply power to devices like VoIP phones, IP cameras or security cameras, and wireless access points (AP). Power over Ethernet (PoE) describes any of several standards or ad hoc systems that pass electric power along with data on twisted-pair Ethernet cabling. This allows a single cable to provide both a data connection and enough electricity to power networked devices such as wireless access points (WAPs), IP cameras and VoIP phones. Power over Ethernet, or PoE for short, is a method of providing both power and networking to a device via network cabling. Just like with wireless networking, there are different standards for various PoE implementations, with newer standards providing more power for more demanding devices.

Every time I look up Unifi gear I read lots of complaints and that it is overpriced.

i can't stop thinking about and having dreams about my ex best friend. they're such disheartening and bittersweet dreams, they always go so stupidly sappy-happy and what if we could have it better and stuff and then i wake up and feel sad and worthless. sometimes we just hug for the entirety of the dream we've been friends for years and it's been escalating badly. i've always been passive, depressive and scared (and it's worse now) and it hurt him so he hurt me back. i feel like shit for saying it but it was such long, draining emotional abuse. i cried nearly every day. it was just a matter of time before it ended; we've been bad to each other and are better off, atleast i hope he is. it's obvious he cared about me and i very much cared back but god it's so unquestionable now how he affected me. and honestly it's just surprising someone could tolerate me for this long, but maybe we were just desperate. i dread hearing from him - i'm not even sure why - i'm just sure i'll have a breakdown or a panic attack, i'm so scared i'm realizing no one will care about me like he did and i'll never be content. now i keep considering about quitting my other two friendships because i deserve no satisfaction of connection and i am bad for everyone. i'm barely maintaining them anyway. i would go fully into art but that is dying, too

I looking to trade in my 2015 ford c max energi with 130,000 miles for a different car. I mainly use my car for commuting 6 miles round trip to work everyday and everyday errands. I want to be able to go camping in my next car, but also interested in some other upgrades.
Things I dont like about my c max: -the trunk space is really small (due to battery) -its pretty low to the ground -no 4 wheel drive -pretty sure it can’t have a trailer or much attachments because of small size -no apple carplay -bad visibility in the front sides
Things I do like about my c max: -heated leather seats - front seats feel big, even tho its compact car -good gas mileage/ hybrid -good speakers :)
What i know looking for in my next car -car camping abilities -4 wheel drive -apple carplay capabilities -car that’s higher off the ground -hybrid or plug in hybrid if possible - nothing over 15k
If you have any ideas on what a good match would be for me, let me know!

On this day in labor history, Terence V. Powderly was born in 1849 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. Powderly was a prominent labor leader, politician, and machinist, best known for his leadership of the Knights of Labor, a major labor union in the late 19th century. Powderly had limited formal education but became a skilled machinist and union leader. He gained national recognition for his non-violent, cooperative approach to labor issues, opposing strikes and advocating for worker collectives. As Mayor of Scranton, Powderly implemented significant reforms, such as improved sanitation and public health measures. Powderly's leadership of the Knights of Labor grew the organization to 700,000 members, though his reluctance to engage in strikes or political radicalism led to mixed opinions of his leadership. Despite internal and external challenges, including the collapse of the union in the late 1880s, he continued his public service career, including roles in immigration policy. Powderly's legacy is complex, marked by his support for worker rights, yet criticized for his views on race and immigration. He died in 1924 at age 75.
