Hey all, I know this is probably the most common question on here but what should I do? I graduate with my bachelors here in a few months and have been looking into English teaching in Japan. Just wondering how viable the path is from people who have done it/apart of the community. I have seen and read a lot about JET and some on Interac and Altia. I see that a lot of these companies don’t require specific certs or degrees, but what are some things I can do to secure a job abroad? This is something I’d do for a year, maybe more if I find it to be my calling. I have no preference where I’d be placed, I have no prior teaching experience (but will in this summer), and am just looking for advice. Don’t bash me too much for being a rookie, much love.

 | 165km self-sufficient over five days in the Oman desert = done. ✅ Easily the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Nothing prepares a guy from Cleveland / Berlin to run in sand. Just absolutely draining. But as always with these things, I was glad I did it once it was over. New friends from the Bedouin tents, surreal views of the dunes, and another core memory I won’t soon forget.
