Ive just noticed my boys have sore hocks. The 12 lb boy has it slightly on his left foot (chinchilla breed) the other has it bad and it’s red, both feet are balding on the heels. We use pine bedding temporarily and I’m going to get softer online but Amazon bedding has reviews where the bedding has bugs and I won’t be getting that. Is chewy ok? I’m looking for the most affordable bedding but a large amount. My town is small and over charges for the smallest amount of bedding

This girl and I were seeing each other for 3 months. We agreed to be exclusive. During the 3 months she told me she loved me. We spent many nights together. Waking up next to each other. We would read to each other. She gave me a 2 thousand dollar necklace for my Christmas gift. A week later I got screenshots from a friend who came across her profile on some dating app. I was upset and told her if she wanted to make things right she would have to come pick me up and talk or fix things. I would be putting in the same effort as her. She said that she didn’t want to hurt me anymore and she was going to let me go. But she asked for the necklace back. I’m a first time home buyer, closing on Monday.
My lawyers have been awful. There’s been no communication of process; our mortgage broker has been the one diligently following up and asking for updates, trying to reach out on my behalf, etc. My understanding of what’s left is as such:
- My lawyers receive the statement of adjustments from the seller’s lawyer
- My financing reaches out to the lawyer for finalizing the file
- I sign papers at the lawyers’ office when they’re ready…???
Obviously it should have been on the lawyers to communicate this to me, but am I missing anything? My “signing appointment” (that I had to call and confirm with the clerk this afternoon, but received no email confirmation of) is supposed to be Friday morning, but I’m terrified they’re not going to make this deadline.
Any advice / does anyone have an idea if the above is correct? Is there anything else I should have prepared?

2025.01.23 03:53 AwkwardHold3796 I resigned for my job to go to basic training, am I able to get rehired?
I was suppose to be in Army basic training but I had a medical issue that prevented me from shipping out that day. Before that, I told my managers that I was resigning because I was joining the military. I was given a ship out date, so I told in in advance that I was joining the Army and gave them advance notice (2 month+) that I would not be able to work (Ship out date was months advance due to school). I talked to them about how I was going to leave and wanted to give them plenty of time to hire someone to replace me. Once I resigned, I thought I would be shipping out however I had medical issue that prevented me from shipping out that day and I won't be able to be shipped out until May. I talked with one of the managers in my department to see if I can get rehired. They said that since I quit I was not able to be rehired for 6 months.
Is there anything I can do to get rehired at my same store or at least in a different store? I had a good relationship with my managers and was a hard worker there and I am already trained in my role. Is there a way to get in expectation from corporate or a store leader? If not what are my options at being hired at HEB?

I (36F) has been driving my bf (44M) car to work sometimes. He also uses the car as well. I’m truly grateful for him letting me use the car until I get my car next month. Anyway he got mad at me and accused me of not liking him or being considerate for not taking his car to the oil change. I told him I don’t feel comfortable taking his car to the mechanic or oil change. I did however gladly offer to pay for any services that were required. The car is a Mercedes C 300. He also thinks since I’m driving the car I should put the insurance in my name even though the car is registered in his name and has a salvage rebuilt title. I asked him to add me as a driver to his insurance but he doesn’t want to but instead said to get my own insurance.
