Hi, good night. I wanna ask if there's anything I can do :(( around 4 hours ago I was on my phone and got some 'find my device' notifications put I payed them no mind. Now, sometimes I had lent my phone to a friend to check her Gmail and sometimes I'd get her Gmail notifs in my phone, I thought this time it was the same and since they had never affected me I didn't click on the 'find my device' notifs. I got busy at work and when I checked my phone again it was totally reset :( I struggled a lot to get back into my account because it kicked my tablet out too, but of course now all my pics and contacts and stuff that was only in my phone is gone :( Is there anything I can do to try and get anything back? :( or should I change my passwords or something? I really don't know what to do. Please don't judge 😔

No i didn't get scammed by this guy (the amulet i linked isn't even the same implcit), Yes i know it's obviously not Astramentis (new players might not know this). Yes i've already reported him. He's been doing this for weeks, I've reported him everytime i catch him admitting its Astramentis (100divs off normal price) and not the amulet he is linking. Chat Mods don't seem to care and obviously he's tricked a few people already because he's changed the amulet. I can tell because the implicit number is different every so often and he keeps attempting it, suggesting he's been successful at least a few times.
Also it's kinda funny that the name of the real amulet is named "StruggleScream" lol Just trying to lookout for new players. Good luck Exiles

I am a FemBoy(18M) and i like my body smooth/hairless and there are many methods by which i can remove my hairs like trimming,waxing,epilating,shaving.Each method has its own advantages like trimming and shaving are ig less painful but hairs regrow quickly but on the other side epilating and waxing is painful but I'll be hairless for more longer time.but my question is little bit philosophical,that is it really worth it going through all the hassle and pain just to be smooth for guys?i mean i do like myself hairless but i am also okay with hairs,they don't cause any problem in real life apart from me being quite hesitant to wear revealing clothes[i usually wear hoodies and shirts].Same goes for my teeth problem,my teeth are little crooked and not very perfect for a good smile,so should i go through the pain for braces treatment.logically speaking teeth are performing the function of eating 4 me at best but its just that i dont smile in photos because of that but generally speaking this is about looks,should i invest my time,my money and go through pain just to impress some guy or should i change my mindset?i am overthinking because i dont like pain,like not even the pain which is usually ignored by everyone,like i am used to not celebrate festivals because they involve pain like makar sankranti aka uttarayan,diwali,holi so yeah thats it.

Hi,
When I was a teenager did a lot of oyster shucking in restaurants and fell in love with oysters. Find them really interesting. Grew up got into oil and gas and ended up roughnecking for years. I’m early 30’s now fit and used to hard work. made my money and want to get me an oyster boat or start a farm. It’s my understanding they’re not giving out leases but sometimes an existing farmer will lease you some space and it helps them out.
Got no problem starting as low man it’s not about the money right now it’s about learning so I can hopefully do my own thing in the future. Can’t seem to find anything on indeed Craigslist anywhere on how to be laborer on oyster trawl or assist a farmer.
Want to be apart of the community and workforce that captured my imagination as a kid and is storied in this great state

I’ve been a smoker since I was around 16, and now, at 29, I’ve decided to quit cigarettes, I am not gonna screw up my 30s with these cancer sticks anymore. Over the years, I’ve attempted to quit smoking probably over 100+ times. There were times when it only took me a couple of hours/days to relapse, and times when I was able to sustain my quit for 3 months. I never really passed the 3 month record.
This time; however, I think I’ve discovered something that has helped me quit for good (fingers-crossed). I have been nicotine-free for more than 3 months now, which is my personal record. I’m going to compile everything I’ve learned over the years here and, potentially, help some of y'all achieve freedom from nicotine.
Disclaimer: What worked for me may not work for everyone; you know your body best. These habits and tools worked well for me, and I hope they can help others too.
Tip 1: Don't use Nicotine Replacement Therapy You are quitting nicotine; which includes all forms of nicotine delivery mechanisms. Throw your vapes, gums, sprays, patch down the drain. It only helps you potentially relapse back to smoking. This was what Allen Carr suggested in his books; and I totally agree with the notion he implied.
"Using nicotine replacement products is like trying to cure alcoholism by drinking low-alcohol beer. You remain addicted to the very substance you are trying to quit." - Allen CarrTip 2: Willpower Isn’t Enough – Your Lifestyle and Health Are Key to Your Success If you decide to quit smoking, good! However, what’s the point if you’re not taking care of yourself along the way? Becoming healthier should be the overarching goal, and quitting smoking is just a small part of achieving that goal.
- Are you drinking or using other substances? These can easily lead you back to smoking, especially during a night out with friends (alcohol and cigarette pairs well). Stay away from any substance or situation that might make you relapse (like snorting cocaine).
- Are you eating healthy and mindful of what you put into your body? Eating whole, balanced foods—like our ancestors—can help you feel better. My rule of thumb: eat colorful veggies, nutritious nuts and seeds, high-quality carbs like sweet potatoes or quinoa, and proteins like chicken, fish, and beef. Aim for balance in every meal. No junk food.
- Are you sleeping enough? Your sleep is paramount to ensuring success in your journey. It will be tough on the first few weeks, even months after quitting. Keep a good sleep hygiene, even if its hard and you will prevail.
- Are you exercising? Exercise is crucial for feeling lighter and can also help curb cravings. Start small if you’re not an avid exerciser. Try at least 3 times a week on an exercise you genuinely like (hiking, surfing etc; whatever rocks your boat)
- Are you surrounded by a supportive group of friends? Let your friends and family know you’re quitting, but don’t keep bringing it up. If anyone taunts you to smoke, they don’t have your best interests at heart.
- Are you managing your stress well? Personally, as someone active in the crypto space, I used to smoke cigarettes (or worse do other substances) after a loss in a trade. Now, I take a deep breath, step outside, and connect with nature. Find the healthiest way to handle your stress—it helps you grow as a person as well.
- Are you calming the storm in your mind? Take time to meditate and learn to become still. Practice silencing your mind. We live in a world of constant stimulation, where everything is competing for your attention. Having a calm mind will help you navigate through the toughest parts of withdrawal. Learn to breathe, and learn to be at peace.
Here’s what I’ve learned, which is crucial for understanding the path to successfully abstaining from nicotine:
After you stop nicotine; your neurochemistry in your brain is completely out of wack. It is important to find tools to help your brain reach homeostasis (balance).
To understand how to help your brain find that balance, you first need to understand what neurotransmitter is impacted during your years of abusing nicotine.
- Acetylcholine: Responsible for focus, learning, memory, and mind-muscle connection. Smoking affects acetylcholine by overstimulating nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, disrupting normal brain signaling and leading to dependency. After you stop smoking, nicotinic acetylcholine receptors become under-stimulated, leading to imbalances in brain function.
- Supplements that helps:
- Alpha-GPC: A direct precursor to acetylcholine, helping replenish levels and improve focus and memory. Absolute game changer for me, I am actually on this supplement right now as I am writing this.
- Phosphatidylcholine: Found in lecithin, it supports overall choline availability.

- Dopamine: Responsible for motivation, reward, mood, and focus. Smoking increases dopamine release, creating feelings of pleasure and reinforcing addiction. After quitting, dopamine levels drop temporarily, leading to withdrawal symptoms like low mood and cravings.

- L-Tyrosine: A precursor to dopamine, especially helpful under stress or during recovery.
- N-Acetylcysteine (NAC): Enhances dopamine regulation and reduces cravings by restoring glutathione levels in the brain.
- Cold Shower or Ice Bath: Not a supplement, but super powerful to induce healthy increase in dopamine
- Supplements that helps:
- Serotonin: Responsible for regulating mood, sleep, and emotional stability. Smoking boosts serotonin temporarily, improving mood, but disrupts its natural regulation. After quitting, serotonin levels drop, potentially causing mood swings and irritability.

- GABA and Glutamate: GABA calms the brain, while glutamate excites it. Smoking disrupts the balance between GABA (calming) and glutamate (excitatory), reducing stress while increasing stimulation. After quitting, this imbalance can cause anxiety, irritability, and restlessness.

- NAC: Helps by restoring glutamate balance, reducing cravings, and supporting brain health during nicotine withdrawal. Also a great addiction suppression tool for other stimulants

Self-explanatory title. Ever since the season changes, it's felt like even more games than usual are completely out of my control and small mistakes snowball even harder with less room for comeback. Also feels super hard to do cross-map plays because the second I leave top my turret's gone regardless of if I'm winning lane or not. I just genuinely cannot figure out how to get an objective without losing one in return. Would love feedback beyond "cs more, die less" because I can read any post here and get that so it's not particularly helpful.
