I just saw a squirrel jump 12’ horizontally from my neighbors 1 story roof to my 2 story house. Running start, 12’ jump to the vertical wood corner of the house, run up the wood corner then launch itself backwards and up 2-3 feet, catching the wood on the eve then pulling itself up on my roof. 12 FOOT JUMP TO A VERTICAL SURFACE. WHAT THE HECK!
I’ve been trimming trees all week and they are still getting to the roof.

Hey all, I’ve been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder (between 1 and 2) for about 3 years, alongside ADHD and ASD1 more recently. I’m currently on 200mg Lamotrigine for context.
From a young age, I struggled with depression, bulimia, and erratic behavior, but these were aggressively dismissed by family and teachers. I didn’t receive support until I could afford treatment as an adult (23).
I’ve had two major manic episodes—both during COVID—while overworked, sleep-deprived, and stressed. Depression has always come in waves. In high school, I smoked cannabis but never felt it worsened my mental health, unlike alcohol, which made me very erratic. These days, I’ve mostly stopped drinking, and until recently, I’d use a small amount of cannabis after night shifts to help me sleep (a longstanding issue for me). I’ve never felt dependent on it and have stopped for long periods without trouble.
I initially sought an ADHD assessment, which required school report samples. It took 3-4 weeks to gather these due to circumstances beyond my control, during which I was supposed to see him regularly as part of my lamotrigine titration. Instead of understanding the delay, he criticized my organizational skills—despite this being a key reason for seeking treatment. This contradiction was one of many instances where his judgment felt dismissive. He also focused excessively on my sex life, making presumptuous comments (e.g., asking about “mummy issues” or implying I use jargon to sound smarter), which left me feeling insecure. Out of fear of judgment, I withheld my cannabis use, but when I admitted it and apologized, offering to stop entirely for ADHD treatment, he dismissed my efforts and suggested I see someone else in a hostile tone.
While I understand some distrust, I’m wondering: A. Is it common for psychiatrists to dismiss your personal experiences with the disorder? B. Is frequent discussion of sex (despite me being a prude) typical? C. Do others experience personal judgments that feel unrelated to professional assessment?

I’m thinking about buying a starter model SE PRS. Can’t decide between SE custom 24 or SE CE 24. There is obviously a big price difference but I’m wondering if SE custom 24 is worth the price difference.

Este error me empezó a suceder con la última actualización, donde salió Miku y demás. Al abrir el Fortnite, absolutamente todo lo de mi PC deja de responder, pero el juego sigue funcionando y me permite jugar. Después de un rato, me corta el internet en la misma pc, por lo que si estoy jugando me saca de la partida y tengo que reiniciar forzadamente si o si. Probé reinstalando el juego y solo funcionó una vez y volvió a andar de la misma forma.
No sé si alguien conoce alguna solución. Cualquier cosa sería de mucha ayuda. Solo me pasa con este juego.

2025.01.23 05:05 Shinasti Aivu's Voiceacting: Just from her Intro-Scene it seems... really bad
So this might just be me, because at least a quick Google search didn't show me any posts on this, but I need to scream this into the void at least once.
I just decided to finally do a proper all-DLC playthrough after not having played since a few years ago. I love Aivu and Azata is cute so I decided it was time for another friendship-is-magic run.
I didn't pay a lot of attention to content additions since release, so I was pretty surprised when my favourite dragon daughter showed up and I could actually hear her speak!
But God that voice. It might just be because I had a pretty solid image of what she should sound like in my head, and the voice acting doesn't match that at all (which is obviously 100% just my problem) and I don't mean to hate on the VA (I'm sure she did a lovely job since most people online seem pretty happy with the result) but I hate it.
The accent I don't mind (it surprised me, but accents in fantasy are always pretty arbitrary and I can deal with that). But this weird, whiny tone of voice (I get that the VA was going for childlike, but it just sounds like a whiny adult to me) drove me up the wall. The emphasis on some words also just felt so... off. I was halfway done with her intro dialogue when I realized: If Aivu had sounded like this on release, I wouldn't have liked her. I'd just have thought she was annoying. It also doesn't help that the VA misses/changes several words in even these few paragraphs and the mistakes are grating (though from what I gather that might be bc she was only really supposed to voice Aivu in the DLC and the intro was just added as a bonus, so maybe the recording was rushed?).
Thankfully it seems like I won't hear the voice again until I get to the Masks DLC, and hopefully the voice acting gets better there (and if not I guess I'll look for a way to turn Voiceacting off).
