I’m taking a long weekend to drive from Los Angeles to Joshua Tree to San Diego, and then back. Looking for any recommendations for kitschy stops (restaurants, shops, museums)
I was interested in the Bunny Museum but it just burned down (really awful) and the Banana Museum (closed since Covid). Have the Crochet Museum bookmarked though.

I need to know if this is just a really bad hemorrhoid or if it’s an anal prolapse and if it can hold off or needs immediate attention.
I became extremely constipated for the first time while on vacation. To the point I had to manually remove impacted stool as it felt stuck. After straining for 30 minutes I noticed my anus was painful and there was a large bump. I thought it was just a hemorrhoid but now as the day had gone on it became more swollen and feels like I can’t finish dedicating. I feel nauseous like I have a full stomach because of the constipated feeling and my anus burns and hurts worse when I sit or lay on my back. Is this just a bad hemorrhoid or is my rectum prolapsed some? I’m on vacation and am supposed to go to an amusement park in less than 9 hours so I need to know how serious this

 | Just reached top 5k solo queueing. Not planning to push ahead, seems like a few people are hacking/ account sharing. In one of my earlier posts I wrote everybody is insanely skilled at the top level, but turns out a few of them are using some sort of aim hack or playing non-stop (my guess ac sharing as many have already pointed out). I played with somebody in the evening then took a break, played for sometime in the night, met the same person, then I was making a video for which I needed screenshot of match history, so I logged into my CODM ac right before sleep (very late in the night), I saw the guy online. Then in the morning right before I set out for work, just logged in to check if the same person is still online out of curiosity. Turned out yes. 2025.01.23 05:15 AllIndiaPermit Phone almost picked; BMTC conductor foiled bid!
I usually take the bus to office in Lalbagh where I work. To save time, I usually keep changing buses to reduce waiting at bus stops. Since I board from HSR BDA complex, I travel to Madivala and take a KR Market-bound bus. Sometimes, I board a Majestic-bound bus (going via Shantinagar) and deboard at NIMHANS to board a Lalbagh-bound bus as the options are more.
Around an hour back, I got down at NIMHANS, since the bus I boarded from Madivala was heading via Shantinagar. A few minutes later, an empty 343 (Begur - KR Market) arrived. I waved my hand to make it stop (since it halts at Lalbagh) and rushed to board it, since the driver halted in the middle of the road.
Now, while boarding from the rear door, I felt a guy push me from behind, but was not in the mood to argue. Suddenly, the conductor shouted, 'Nin amman... en madthidiya?' (You motherfucker, what are you doing?) I thought he was shouting at me, but then I heard something fall on the steps - it was my mobile phone WTF!
Confused, I picked it up and boarded. Some lanky piece of shit (pullingo attire) was there behind me, and the conductor continued shouting at him, threatening to file a police complaint. The son of a money-extorting hijda in Majestic underpass ran away while the conductor was like, 'Saar, avnu nim phone na kalltidda' (See, he was picking your phone.) Funniest part was, two wheelers overtaking this bus hindered this bastard's escape.
Now obviously like any other person, I was almost shocked as my phone contained crucial data. I was quite rattled as it brought back bad memories from 10 years back, when my phone was pickpocketed from Christ College bus stop while I was boarding the bus - ON THE SAME ROUTE heading towards Begur!
I thanked the conductor profusely. He told me to be careful (Obviously no matter how careful you are, someone can always outsmart you.) He even mentioned that these pickpockets come from Hosur (can't really verify) and usually target people standing near the door as it's easier to run away.
His advice: Hinde hogi! (Move behind and stand away from the door)
Here's what I learnt: 1.Always keep your phone in your bag, or play music using wired earphones at ALL times. 2. If the conductor tells you to move behind, try your best to. If not possible, keep a good watch on your belongings. 3. Always keep your bag in front. It not only repels thieves but also makes the life of co-passengers easier.
On a side note - if you get a chance to board KA57F3208 on 343 and meet the conductor (bespectacled person with buzz-cut hair and beard, wearing brown sport shoes) - just greet him or thank him before deboarding. It's because of people like him that BMTC is still relevant in our city!
TL;DR: Phone almost got picked from my pocket while boarding bus in NIMHANS, conductor intervened and foiled bid.
