Nine months ago I had an abortion. The man who impregnated me had ghosted me, but I reached out to let him know. We were together all the time for almost three months, but he was failing to be serious. Ultimately I chose to have an abortion because my child could not choose their dad. Since then, I’ve been searching for love in all the wrong places. Most recently, I was ghosted after I had sex with a man on the first date. To be honest, I wasn’t making any progress. Will they like it?
Did I just post complete nonsense that is totally against the characters and the show and the implicit promises I made in the first chapters and am about to be called out?
Is the story going in the wrong direction? Do they think the story now needs to go somewhere I’m not planning to go? If so, are they right?
Did they accidentally hit the subscribe button and now that they know what it does they’ll unsubscribe?
I guess I’ll find out soon!
Are these normal thoughts for all of you? Any success/failure stories to share?
For reference, “a lot” in this case is 90. Which at least feels like a lot to me!

There are SO many things to add to the list of their wrongdoings since this person wrote this BUT for those who have recently sworn off listening to the podcast & are feeling guilty about waiting so long to do so, it's okay. You're not a bad person, everyone has their breaking point.
A gentle reminder that everything in this world– from religion to diets to politics to celebrity fandoms– can be recognized by the literal spectrum in which human enlightenment exists & how the pendulum delicately swings between being a part of the completely unknown to cognizance to having a margin for error and certain level of tolerance to grace to blind faith to toxicity to rabid extremism.
Just like you can be a Taylor Swift fan, love her music, fangirl over her pop culture moments, follow her lore, & still not feel like you identify with the superfreak collection of Swifties. Wackadoo Disney adults vs. being an adult who goes to Disney is another great example. So don't beat yourself up if you fell into the camp of listening to The Toast despite disagreeing with them a lot, knowing their lore & shortcomings but never considering yourself a Toaster– especially one of the diehard blindly loyal ones that sadly can't admit this most recent Elon Nazi salute issue is truly indefensible & was horrific.

I have to say, I finally get why most videos are blurred and short and I feel like I owe these posters an apology. I tried to record and zoom and failed miserably. These things are too fast and they also simply disappear! I witnessed an orb moving up and down with crazy speed, and I also saw an airplane moving seemingly stationery close by, which was more than enough to realize the orb was something else entirely (and was moving at a crazy speed as well). What was odd was that it simply disappeared (faded away) after a few seconds.

I didn't want to go to Goodwill today.
I have plenty of inventory. I need to get listings done. I need to get some work done. I have a ton on my plate. Including, the need for some new kitchen appliances. I'm unhappy with my microwave, toaster, and air fryer.
Last weekend, I picked up a VERY expensive toaster for $25 at an estate sale. While I kind of want to keep it, I also wouldn't mind selling it if I get a lesser toaster, especially one that is highly rated. So I pulled up Consumer Reports on my lunch hour and looked up the top Microwaves, Toasters, and Air Fryers.
After work, I planned to take my mom to see my Grandma who is currently in the hospital.
My mom wanted me to just drop her off at the hospital and told me to go to a nearby Goodwill or something until close and then come pick her up.
There were two Goodwill stores that were about the same distance from the hospital and I decided to go to the one that has treated me well in the past.
I get there and look around and find a few things. 5 minutes before closing, I remember they have this back corner with bigger items that you can find some decent things on. And what happens when I turn the corner?
I see a Panasonic NN Series microwave. This series of Microwave are some of the TOP microwaves according to Consumer Reports. The current NN model is the #1 overall ranked microwave. The model that was at Goodwill actually had a higher score than this year's model. I immediately look inside and see it's got the manual, glass try, plastic ring. I put it on my cart and go to the testing station. It turns on and it works.
These microwaves retail for $200-$300+ and I look at this particular model and it goes on eBay for $160 + shipping Pre-Owned.
The price at Goodwill? $15
I got a very expensive microwave to replace the cheapo $50 microwave I bought a couple years ago.
I just think it's so WEIRD that I'm looking up Microwave replacements on CR this afternoon and I manage to find one of the top of the line Microwaves for pennies on the dollar at a Goodwill on the same exact day. And I hardly see Microwaves at Goodwill.
I will use it and if I find I don't like it for whatever reason, I will probably let it go cheap on FB Marketplace.
Oh, and the Carhartt Jacket marked at $12.99 I found on a new rack at 6:30 PM will more than cover the cost of the microwave.
Goodwill provided today!
Anyone else have any stories of looking something up or researching something and then suddenly finding it at a Goodwill shortly after?

Ten years I’ve had the same credit cards. I had no idea how to maximize anything until just before I became pregnant. Unfortunately due to being on the receiving end of abuse around the beginning of 2024, I’m now a single mother. And then because the universe is awesome, I was let go from my job a couple months later. As we know, this market is shit so it’s been impossible to find work in my field. Now I’ve been forced to run up every card just to survive. I haven’t been able to make a payment since 10/24.
So I’m sure they’re all going to be charged off fairly soon, if some haven’t already been (I’m too scared to even look at my report.) One score was at 580ish last time I forced myself to peek at Experian earlier in the month, so that’s fun.
Here’s a few questions: Do I pay off the full balances (as soon as I’m able to) or is it possible to negotiate settlements when they’re so freshly CO or possibly in collections? Should I try a credit repair agency? Does interest continue to accumulate on CO/collections? Do I have any hope of being approved for another unsecured cc again?
I’m just lost and tired, boss. Realizing a decade of being meticulous, closing in on 800s, is gone, just like that. Soul crushing. Thanks in advance for any advice.
