I remember reading this book back in the beginning of middle school, i did not get to finish it so i only remember some of the beginning. One of the main character was a boy who was academically smart but not emotionally, the story starts with him not being able to answer a question about how a historical figure might have felt during their time. The other main character was a girl, I can’t remember her story though. They meet at this outdoor camp thing. I don’t remember the title or the author.

I'm on holiday in the US from Australia, was driving from Vegas to Reno today.
About an hour past Area 51 (which I didn't realise we'd be near today lmao) I saw an oblong white object traveling at a high altitude. It moved across the sky at a high speed and then disappeared.
I got my wife to screenshot maps where we were when I saw it. It was here -

Unfortunately I didn't get footage of the object itself because I was driving and my wife couldn't find it in the sky despite my attempt to verbally point out where it was.
I first spotted it because I was looking at the remnants of an old jet trail, it traveled the whole length of the jet trail (which was quite long) in about 20 seconds, then disappeared.
I'm an aviation geek and on this same drive I saw commercial jetliners, fighter jets and small planes - but this thing was completely different. Firstly I just know what planes look like and how they move, this was way faster, left no trail and was somewhat spherical - plus it just literally disappeared, it was there one second then gone the next.
I'll admit, I've always wanted to see a UFO/UAP and have been following the tic-tac news, but I'm not super into it and tbh think 99% of it is bs and peddled by grifters. This wasn't a super interesting or earth shattering sighting, but I saw what I saw and it was exactly what thousands of others have described.

It might just be the angle but thought it was funny because of how Mizu makes him wear a bell because of his light feet. Hi all, I (30M) need advice on what to do. I’ve had Telegram installed on my phone since 2019 or 2020. It’s one of those apps I rarely use but never got around to deleting. Occasionally, I open it just to clear the notifications, which come from people in my contacts joining Telegram.
Over the last year or two, I’ve noticed that an old coworker from a previous job (let’s call him Brian) has been repeatedly joining and deleting their account, only to rejoin again. I never really thought much of it—until yesterday.
When I opened the app to clear notifications, I saw that Brian had created a new account. However, I noticed that their profile picture contained abbreviated letters that didn’t match their name. I also saw that Telegram now has a stories feature, similar to Instagram, and Brian had posted something. Out of curiosity, I clicked on it.
What I saw was a shared post containing borderline CP, which shocked me. This made me question whether the account was actually Brian’s or if there was some kind of mix-up—maybe an error with contact linking, or perhaps Brian had ditched the old number I had saved, and someone else was now using it.
To investigate further, I clicked on the profile and saw that the displayed name wasn’t Brian but something entirely different. There was also a link to a Telegram page/group. Given what I had already seen, I decided to proceed with caution.
I created a Google Voice number and a new Telegram account using that number. When I clicked the link, it automatically joined me into a group that was structured similarly to Slack, with multiple subchannels such as “celebrity fakes,” “R34,” “non-nude,” “trans,” etc. One of those channels was titled “IRL.”
As I scrolled through the channel, I was stunned to come across an edited picture of a former coworker, Rachel. The image was taken from her Instagram and placed side by side with a manipulated version where her top had been removed. This immediately set off alarm bells and strongly suggested that the account did, in fact, belong to Brian.
Continuing to scroll, I noticed that Brian seemed to have a fixation on someone named Susan. The channel contained many heavily edited images and deepfake videos of her, some of which I recognized as being taken at locations familiar to me. This led me to suspect that Susan might be connected to my former company or at least from the same area.
To confirm, I searched Susan’s name in the followers list of a close friend who still works there—and sure enough, I found her. She does work at my old company.
Now, I’m unsure of how to proceed. I have Rachel’s phone number, but I haven’t spoken to her since I left the company four years ago. Additionally, I know she isn’t the most approachable person, which makes me hesitant to contact her—especially since I don’t know what kind of relationship she has with Susan. The situation with Susan feels even more sensitive, as the fake images of her are far worse. I don’t know her personally and have no way to contact her except through Instagram DMs.
Some key context to consider: 1. I haven’t worked at this company in four years and haven’t spoken to Rachel since I left. 2. Both Rachel and Susan are still employed at the company. 3. Brian was fired six months ago. 4. Brian is married with three children. 5. I’m personally triggered by this because my ex-girlfriend had a stalker who posted explicit photos of her on a porn site. Having witnessed firsthand the emotional toll it took on her, I feel conflicted. While I want to inform Susan and Rachel I know it could hurt them in many ways I couldn’t imagine or anticipate, I also don’t want to act impulsively just to alleviate my own discomfort. 6. I plan to report the group to Telegram immediately after posting this.
I feel disgusted knowing this content exists, but I don’t know if I should involve myself and tell either Susan or Rachel, or confront Brian in an a calm manor, or step back and not say anything. I’m also unsure if I should confide in my close friend who still works with Susan and Rachel.
