We’ve been in a dead bedroom, and dying relationship, for about ten years, since at least the kids—quick vanilla sex once a year maybe, always at my initiation, and he’s never been really demonstrative or romantic or affectionate. If I’m honest, I started feeling rejected even before that, almost from when we moved in together.
And he’s always controlled everything—when we were allowed to have sex, whether we went on vacation, whether we got married (if I ever brought it up, he would just say, No, I think we’re good, and that was that).
Two years ago, he began withholding all affection. He blames me for being angry, which, sure, I’m resentful; who wouldn’t be, after begging for years to work on the relationship, after feeling for years like I couldn’t be myself?
Obviously I have my bullshit too and bla bla bla, but I’m constantly actively working on it and trying to address it openly.
We’ve spent over $10K on therapy over the past year, and still he’s emotionally unavailable, angry, hostile, contemptuous, conflict-averse, and unaccountable. He says he doesn’t know why he’s been withholding sex and affection. I don’t know, I don’t know: it’s his refrain. I know there are wounds there, but I can’t be the one to heal him, and he clearly doesn’t want to go there, not this lifetime.
I think we might be done—and it’s terrifying.
His schedule will make it impossible to coparent 50/50, our kids will be shattered and we both really love our family unit, we have no family around to help, we’re in the middle of renovating our old house and it’s basically unsaleable, and neither of us can survive on our own financially right now (I pay for almost everything but I lost a huge contract last year so we’ve been living on my credit and some money I inherited).
I’ve been telling myself I can do this for a few more years—try to live cordially together, give him space (I sometimes pretend he doesn’t exist), but both of us are so unhappy and so hurt. I think he thinks it’s my fault. I guess I picked wrong, though he’s a good and domestically pretty equal partner, more than most.
I can’t believe I wasted my life and my youth with him. I wish I’d never had kids with him, even though they were wanted and I love them so much. God, it kills ne to write that. I wish we’d never bought this house. I wish I’d turned away twenty years ago.
But we still feel so connected in some ways. He still feels like my person.
I don’t want to let someone else determine if I’m allowed to be loved and desired anymore, even if I love him, you know? I don’t know how I will ever recover from the harm this relationship has done to me. I’ve had a huge weight in my chest all week.
I’m so stressed and so, so sad.

And thus essentially killing the Darkin.
From the top of my head, Asol should just be able to unmake them, or chuck them into a blackhole which WILL obliterate them.
Ornn/Brand might be able to melt them down or destroy them in a similar manner (heat). Amumu's curse completely rots away anything organic, with the darkin weapons being rather organic looking. Xerath might be able to overload them with magic? same with ryze. Bard could possibly also do something, though I doubt he could destroy them and more likely just permanently keep them in stasis.
Syndra seems strong enough to obliterate them as well and I would argue that Lissandra and Anivia might also be able to do something about the weapons because of the pure magic they have.
I might be understanding Mord wrong, but with his mastery of souls, would he not be able to access the soul within the weapon and destroy it like that? A part of me also wonders if Shen could "exorcise" the being within the sword, similarly to how mord would go about it, but maybe more ritualistic.

And some items exist.
I'm having a hard time making a data sheet.
Since I only have experience developing small games, games with a lot of data feel difficult.
There are many events that take place in the middle of the dialogue, reduction of physical strength, item acquisition, and production.
Because of the narrow range of "increase in physical strength" and "acquiring items," data sheets can be distinguished by "change_health" and "get_item".
What should I do with the event?
For example, another NPC appears next to you during the conversation, etc.
In other words, is there a way to implement 'any event that cannot be expressed in text values' at the desired timing during the conversation?

I've known my friend since we were in grade 3-4, and only recently have they discovered they have DID. There's something I've been worried about that I feel like I can't discuss with them.
I'm scared of their alters fronting more then they do. Can this happen? Can the host stop fronting as often as the others do? Or am I being ignorant and irrational?
I don't want to loose my friend and don't know who to talk to about this. Last night a new alter emerged and it was kind of scary seeing text come from my friend's discord profile that doesn't sound like them at all. It's gotten to the point where I'm worried about seeing them irl because I wouldn't really know who I'm talking to.
P.S Is it stupid of me to feel slightly wary of their alters? Like I don't really 'know them' as well and can only really let myself be comfortable when my friend is fronting or co-fronting?

My wife, son, and I are ready to apply for visas and try to get to Australia, hopefully, by this time next year. We’ve been looking at anywhere along the East coast, mostly around/just outside of Brisbane and Melbourne due to those being some of the big dots on the map. I’m a self employed carpenter, my wife is staying at home with our young son, but plans to return to being a librarian/get her masters when he starts school.
Is there plenty of work in house building and remodeling? Any particular areas of the country we should look at that would have good work and be good for a young family? Is there much prejudice against US tradies from builders/homeowners?
I own my one man company in the US, how many of you “work for yourself” or subcontract to larger builders? Can I just walk onto a jobsite and ask the lead for a job like in the US?
