Prayer is the open admission that without Christ we can do nothing. Prayer is an expression of faith in God’s power, fueled by a desire for more of him. In his excellent book on prayer, drawing on centuries of wisdom about its purpose and power, Tim Keller steps into this dance between dependence and delight. He talks about the marriage of “kingdom-prayer” (asking God to work in the world) and “communion-prayer” (enjoying the presence and relationship of God). He writes, The main ingredient in effective prayer is emphatically not us. Often Misunderstood. Many of us find James 5:16 to be a familiar verse: “The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” — which is also translated, as an ESV footnote spells out, “The effective prayer of a righteous person has great power.” Then there is Sunday morning that includes prayer in song and other ways. If assembling for prayer is not part of your devotion to prayer, make 2003 a breakthrough year. Both-and: free and formed, alone and assembled. D — Desperate and Delighted. I've read older threads, but since the topic hasen't been brought up in a while, I'd like to open this one.
What I'm actually curious about is hearing from people who had a hard time conceiving and/or had multiple miscarriages.
I often hearead about people who get pregnant rather quickly, but then end up with a miscarriage. I have both, it takes us a good year to get pregnant and if it happens, we loose it.
I was diagnosed with hashimotos in mid 2024, after I had my 3rd miscarriage because of 'unknown causes'. Here my 'stats' from May:
- TSH: 2.64mU/l
- anti TPO: 3’912U/ml
- FT4: 15.9pmol/l
- FT3: 4.42pmol/l
- DHEA-S: 10.4umol/l
- AMH: 70.7 pmol/l
I started treatment with levothyroxine, I am now approx. 60.7mcg (I take 75mcg at three day, and 50mcg at 4 days of the week, because a constant 75mcg was too much).
- TSH: 2.17
- fT4: 21.4
- fT3: 3.36
- Testosterone: 3.45nmol/L
- Vitamin B12: 556
- Holo-TC: >150.0
- How did you tackle recurring miscarriages?
- What do you think was the reason? anti TPO? TSH?
- Any advice on how to lower the testosterone levels?

Röviden vázolom a helyzetem. Kisebb lakást szeretnék venni, kb 12M FT önerőm van. A többi hitel lenne. A felső határ kb. 55M FT. Napi szinten bújom a hirdetéseket. Viszont jelenleg azt látom, hogy egyik napról a másikra ugrálnak fel akár +5M FT-ot az árak. Eddig 4 lakást is kp-s vevő vett meg előlem. ( Ezt úgy kell érteni, hogy egyeztettem már időpontot másnapi megtekintésre, ahol vételi szándéknyilatkozatot is szerettem volna tenni, viszont az időpont előtt visszajeleztek, hogy elkelt a lakás). Kicsit kezdek ettől besokallni... Most elég élénk a piac. Szerintetek várható, hogy pár hónapon / fél éven belül kicsit lelassul a pörgés? Most szabadulnak fel a PMÁP megtakarítások, ez sem segít a helyzetemen.
Kb. képtelenségnek érzem felvenni a versenyt hitelesként a KP-s vevőkkel szemben, a korrektség pedig nem nagyon van meg senkiben, hogy tartsa a szavát. (Természetesen megértem, hogy a KP. az biztos, csak nehéz lenyelni ezt a békát. )

2025.01.23 13:26 Hazard-X Should I keep working on this infinite dungeon crawler or move on to something else?
The game is called "Crawl Man" since it's a dungeon crawler and I'm terrible at naming things. It's an infinite dungeon crawler with progressive difficulty that scales with how many rooms you have cleared.
Every cleared room gives you an upgrade point you can use to increase one of 3 stats (Health, Weapon, Speed) or recover health at the cost of no upgrade. All 3 stats have small perks at level milestones with a large perk if you max the stat.
New enemies are also introduced every 5 rounds. Currently there are 11 enemies in the game with mostly unique mechanics.
There are also a few different game modes I created to increase difficulty if the player wanted to challenge themselves more.
I started making this game around Christmas and planned on only working on it until the new year (I was practicing my game development skills by making a series of small games start to finish) but I ended up having a lot of fun with it and now I am running to the end of the extended scope I gave myself. Should I continue polishing this into something real or move on?
There are of course some bugs... more than shown in this short video but nothing I couldn't fix if I decided to commit to the project.
Also any feedback on the small amount of gameplay I showed would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
ps: all sprites were made by a friend and myself and while I'd say I am a pretty solid programmer I am a terrible artist so be kind lol
