My bsf or âBâ , i love her to death and sheâs the only person I truly love and able to feel upset over. I know I probably have some jealousy issues and am not able to fully understand romantic relationships. But I genuinely feel like Iâm mourning a friendship now. We are so close - we used to call for hours every week but it just completely stopped. Sheâs never been the one to initiate any calls and now I just donât want to ask anymore because the rejection fucking hurts. She doesnât really tell me why sheâs busy but Iâm pretty sure itâs just her bf since sheâs always talking to him 24/7. Im happy for B she deserves all the love and more than I could ever give her but it just sucks knowing she doesnât need me as much as she used to. Our friendship gradually grew, I was the one there for her at one of the darkest moments of her life I always tried to cheer her up by giving lots of affirmations and just being there for her. It took a few years to even hear the words I love you to me, so when I saw how quickly she could say I love you to a guy she just started dating a week ago I kind of just felt like shit. B is the only person I want to stay in my life - I love her more than family but lately I kind of just felt so alone. My insecurities ended up turning into resentment for her bf, I hate having to listen about the same stories of him over and over again. I wish she would be scared of losing me like how sheâs scared of losing him. I know that falling in love is an intense feeling. And I know she loves me, I know that iâm important to her, she does constantly send me videos of messages talking about the love for me she and how she loves me more than herself but I just canât bring myself to believe it anymore. Actions are so much louder than words to me and I donât want to beg someone for attention. I just feel extremely selfish and I donât want to bring it up because I think Iâm wrong for feeling this way. I donât text her a lot anymore, I donât want to ask to call anymore, obviously I will see her but thereâs just a big part of me that wants to slowly distance myself more and more to prepare myself for the worst.

Look I (28M) was planning on a long heartfelt request but I feel that kind of cheapens the point Iâll cover basics keep it brief-ish. My partner (29F) is a lovely bubbly (sees far too much good in people) struggling Australian 3D environment artist in the same boat as everyone else in the video game industry as company after company makes massive lay-offs. She started a rather cute Etsy store selling various 3D prints, stickers and 2D art prints (probably notepads now as well) from various video games as hopefully a method of keeping us from being homeless and fed (Iâm a psych student with chronic health issues whoâs still 1st year, I know late bloomer, yes we both receive a gov payments but these barely keep us afloat, 1 step away from only 2 minute noodle diets) If anyone sees this and finds something they like AND CAN COMFORTABLY AFFORD (please, do not stretch yourself for others if you ainât got enough yourself.) or they feel like sharing it elsewhere it would mean the world to myself and more importantly her.
