Committing to another rewatch in honor of David Lynch’s return to his home planet 🫡. Godspeed, good sir.
This has recently been bouncing around my head:
The scorched oil odor is a byproduct of BOB primed for murder. Maddie and Ronette both smelled it when they encountered BOB, respectively.
When Leland smothered Jacques, he was of his own mind. Meaning it wasn’t BOB in control. You could argue that the possession was increasingly driving Leland insane - but regardless, Leland killed Jacques of his own free will. Evidenced by the fact that he remembered doing it. He confessed when caught.
Here’s the kicker- Dr. Jacoby reported the smell on the night of Jacques murder. Even though it wasn’t BOB?
I have two dumb theories. 1) Leland was so consumed by BOB that he basically turning into him (white hair, for example). 2) The writers didn’t fully flesh out this character trait and it’s just a continuity error.

2025.01.23 16:42 4runfun Thought was gallbladder, but found cyst on right kidney….
Been having some dull aches / pains under right rib front that radiates to side and back. Doctor thought could be gallstones/bladder issue, ran labs and then had an ultrasound today. Livegallbladder showed no issues, but a 2.7x2.9x3.2cm cyst was found on the right kidney. With some googling this could potentially be the problem. Some other symptoms I’ve had for a while that could be attributed is frequent urination.
Was wondering if anyone had a “small” cyst and had it removed with some smaller symptoms but not the more major symptoms.

I've placed a few orders within the last week and every order is having a shipping delay and delivery delay. Amazon keeps saying on the app that it's due to "This package is delayed due to severe weather in the delivery network." Which is weird because where I am, the weather has been fine for 1.5 weeks. Do they no longer ship and deliver below 40 degree fahrenheit?

2025.01.23 16:42 Mongrel714 The Garden of Djinn competition is over already???
When I saw that submissions for the competition ended on the 23rd, I thought that that day was included...I actually tried to submit my script "early" a little past midnight (my time) last night and was met with a "submissions closed" screen 😭😭😭
I dunno if anyone from TPI might see this but I'd love to still be able to submit my script for the competition given that confusion. I actually sent bungeeman a reddit message with a raw copy of the json of my script just to prove I had completed it in time (though I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he didn't read it since I'm just a rando on the internet to him heh). I can of course send a json file of the script somewhere if needed, and will do so ASAP if a TPI employee allows me to.
I'm really kicking myself because the script has been done for a few days now and I would've absolutely submitted it earlier if I had known the actual deadline was the moment we moved from the 22nd to the 23rd rather than the 23rd being the last day to submit as I'd assumed. 😭😭😭

2025.01.23 16:42 FLDJF713 Looking for a Funhaus video with air traffic control and the screen sliding off the desktop.
There was a video (maybe a Demo Disk) where they played an Air Traffic Control game. It had weird booting issues and then not only the launcher but the entire desktop screen just slowly melted to the bottom of the screen and then booted up just fine. It was hilarious and I can’t find it again.
