An agent from one bank sold my Mom a ULIP, ABSLI Guaranteed Milestone policy to be specific. She was naive and took the policy and I was unaware of it. Recently I got to know about it and as itās not a good policy I called up ABSLI and asked them the process of surrendering the policy on which I was told that I can only surrender after paying the second annual premium. I don't want to waste money paying one more premium so I wanted to know if I stop paying premium without surrendering the policy then what would be the repercussions?

I'm in my mid 20s and have been working a corporate job for almost 3 years now. I have started have second thoughts continuing in this path as I'm thinking it's not the right thing for me and it doesn't give me joy or excitement. I'm passionate about consumer tech and spend my free time researching about new technology, so I was thinking making a career out of it by entering the world of media be it blogging or YouTube. I'm not able to figure out how to take the first steps, cuz youtube or media company in general is a broad field and idk if i want to edit video or research content or what specific things I like to do. Need advice on how to go about this.

Hello, I live in Chicago and looking at buying a 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE. I am intending to pay cash, but am open to financing for a very short term (6 months, or whatever they need to meet their sales goals and not fuck them over) if it offers significant incentives. Considering this is a hot car lately, Iām honestly not expecting anything here, and will likely stick with cash. I have no trade in. Hope I got all the relevant information there.
But my real question is what dealer add ons through Toyota are worth while and what are not? Hereās what I am looking at. I honestly donāt care about squabbling over $200 here or there, but I just want to know whatās actually worth while and whatās strictly profit making with no benefit.
-Weather package, well I know I want that one.
-Paint protection film for hood and fendedoor guards, is this worth it?
-Car Mate dashcam. I want a dash cam, but Iāve read some mixed reviews on Toyota. I want it professionally installed, so the idea of buying from the dealer seems easiest. Is this a bad one?
-Are these catalytic converter shields actually effective at deterring? Iāll be parking inside, so Iām not super worried about this except when Iām out and about. Does this actually work?
-Should I even entertain warranties? Iām buying this car because I like the Toyota reputation for reliability. I actually wonāt be driving very frequently maybe 2-3 times a month, so the standard 3 yea36,000 mile should suffice in my opinion. But what else should I know about warranties prior to going into the sales office?
Any other information I should be aware of in regards to products I will be given pitches for? I have never bought a car from a dealership, though when I was a teenager I always attended the process with my dad, but Iām 38 so that was quite a while ago.

Hey yall, current senior applying for four year scholarship. I feel like I have pretty competitive stats (1510 SAT, Eagle scout, 3.7/4.05 gpa, 26 community college credits, scout leadership), but my physical is horrible (think 2:00 plank, 7:40 run, 35 push ups). Do you think that the stats could balance out or weigh in to be competitive?
Im shooting for UMD/Carnegie Mellon, if that matters.
