I just watched the first couple episodes of Severance, Season 1, and am hoping to catch up with this new season soon. As I tend to do with a show I had previously missed, I went back to find The Watch episode that discussed these first 2 episodes (it was from Feb 17, 2022). I quickly discovered there are some wild markers in time that really show how long it has been since Season 1, in terms of The Watch. In the opening of the episode, CR introduces a recently announced slate of future Sheridan projects, including Lioness and Landman (he is pumped about the Landman premise). Later in the episode, the two are previewing the slate of FX shows for that year, and AG explains with interest the premise of the upcoming show The Bear. Looking ahead for more Severance talk, I saw a few episodes after this Feb 17 one is the episode that discussed the original Slow Horses trailer. It’s like there’s been a whole era of The Watch since Severance season 1.

My original setup was a 2.5ft aquarium, plenty of hiding spots and shells, plus the fish (shopkeeper gave 3 large and 3 small). I let them settle in and observed a lot of aggression ONLY from the larger fish to the smaller. I now have set up my “emergency” 1.5ft tank and moved one large and two small into this tank. Both tanks now have 3 fish however there’s still a lot of aggression. My biggest concern is that Ive managed to pick only males. Does anyone know how to identify sex or have a suggestion?

I am trying to switch the kernel to an ARMv7 device (PocketCHIP /R8-A13) Display is fed with standard parallel video in RGB666 format (Olimex4.3TS).
Trying to find on Reddit a Linux user on my level who wants to find out what the issue is. You need to know the basics of kernel cross-compiling, how to configure a kernel, U-boot, framebuffer, DRM, device-tree and overlays, initramfs and systemd. And you have an USB -> TTL adapter.
If you have a PocketCHIP and you "love this little bastard", I am of course, willing to share all my work and knowledge.
As a not active social media user (incl. Reddit) I am to be honest a little bit dissapointed.
Mostly everybody is talking about gaming (graphics card) or endless talking about distros or why Linux/Microsoft sucks. Endless.... Even this (embeddedlinux) feels quit and the CHIPCommunity is basiclly dead.
I am heavily using the incredible work, documentation and tools from u/macromorgan. But this guy is scary high levelled and of course busy.
I am spending around 5 hours a week. To learn. Because that is my main reason I want to do this.
What I have right now: A fresh Trixie rootfs where every things works with kernel 5.15.
What I have concerning 6.12: Touch screen input works (evtest) and I can toggle the backlight power: /sys/class/backlight/backlight# echo 0/1 > bl_power and the brightness.
My goal is to share when everything is working an image, so PocketCHIP owners can blow the dust of it.
Just let me know...

So I’m in a 3ed sidereal campaign that is going to have it’s first session in two weeks time and I’m playing a Chosen of Journeys who was originally a street beggar in Yu Shan and worked his way up as a carrier until he was one day assigned a desk in the Journeys office and explained that he was destined to be Sidereal so here is your first lot of paperwork.
The campaign will be his first time in Creation (specifically the North) so I want to figure out some things to amaze/fascinate him as he is in the mundane world for the first time.
Some ideas I have:
- that Creation being cold is a permanent thing, and what that entails for day to day living.
- How cheap food is.
- Scarcity of gold, silver, mercury, gems, etc in most places.
- How everything actually seems to die down for night time.
- Gods and Elementals not just walking around the place as they do their jobs.
