Just read an article about Cumberbatch's reaction to Downey being cast as Doc Doom and he confirmed that he is not going to be in Doomsday, but will be in Secret Wars. That got me thinking - are "The Avengers" in Doomsday going to be the Avengers of the FF's universe and the movie will play out like Infinity War where Doom is the main character and it's about how he and the FF come to the MCU proper? 🤔

2025.01.23 15:28 Physical-Oil-5220 Seeing ET SCAN Potential SSH Scan OUTBOUND from a local server, but to a local IP?
Today I have received three IPS / IDS alerts that a Server is trying to contact 172.17.0.1 and 172.18.0.1, but this server has been firewall off with no Internet access since it was built.
I've ran Malwarebytes (I know not bulletproof) on the server, which didn't identify any issues. What can I do to investigate further or is this just an anomaly that can be ignored?

Every time I go to pre-order the Galaxy S25 Ultra as an upgrade it asks me if I want to continue checking out with a replacement item and if I click yes it gives me an error and if I click no it doesn't do anything.
I tried having a chat rep assist with the order yesterday and they told me pre-ordering was only for new lines which isn't true because the website says for an upgrade as well and so did the email XFinity sent me.
I ended up going to the XFinity store and the option to pre-order with the 750 dollar trade-in credit was grayed out so they couldn't pre-order the upgrade either.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it something wrong with my account? I want to pre-order this ASAP so I don't miss out on the 750 dollar trade in because other places like Samsung are only offering me 400 dollars.

, l'm in Los Angeles, so l'm looking for something that can handle ash, smoke, and other toxins from wildfires. On top of that, I live near a freeway, so the dust in my apartment is usually black, so VOCs is also an issue. I'm also a germaphobe, so I really want something that's good at catching viruses and bacteria as well. Since I have roommates who don't feel the need for an air purifier, I'll only be buying one for my room, which is about 250 sq. ft. I'm still evacuated so I can't give any more accurate information off the top of my head. My budget is tight, so l'm hoping to find something $100 or under if possible. Looking for low energy.
I’ve seen people fighting over what’s best and reading reviews and I’m actually now so stressed and worn out from the situation. I was looking at blueair 511 max but now I’m seeing people are scared of the ionizers …. So now I’m scared. Should I just go with a true hipa filter from anyone!? I’m so stressed.

 | Hey! Im about to insulate my suspended floor but I have a couple of joists that have hold a bit of dampness at the end and the wood underneath them as well. I’ve already called a timber specialist and he said it was not bad, but I’ve just cleaned all the debris that was covering the end of the joists (3rd pic) and now I want to let them dry! Any tips? My dehumidifier just died a couple weeks ago, so do I put the heating on with windows closed? Or is it better just windows open and let the air flow even if it’s humid outside? So my (23M) ex (23F) and I broke up 8 weeks ago right before thanksgiving. Safe to say I was a a-hole to her the entire relationship, she was sweet, caring, and loved me unconditionally. I on the other hand focused on myself and my self interests. We met in college, I knew I always had feelings for her and also loved her very much, we traveled to Europe together, started full-time work together, moved to a new city together, and eventually moved in together for a little while. All in the span of 2 years, I felt like my life was incapsulated by her. I was immature couldn’t think of plans but eventually snapped into it and came around and started to change for the better. Compliments, dates, communication, we were very compatible. The large issue was that the entire time I was dealing with a severe porn addiction and she would constantly find out and confront me, I even met up with someone behind the scenes during the relationship. I was secretive and couldn’t bring myself to talk about it, I was still reeling in from a past breakup in which I moved on too quickly from to her. The past didn’t truly matter to me anymore but still stuck with me in the back of mind. She was just my second girlfriend and everything seemed perfect when being with her, I couldn’t imagine it ending but I took it all for granted.
I’m now a shell of myself and disgusted at my past behaviors trying to change for the better, going to therapy, reading, watching romance movies, etc. I can’t get her out of my head for even a minute. I don’t know what to do, she still wants me in her life as a friend, but it’s like lighting a cigarette whilst trying to quit smoking each time I see her, all of the last trauma I’ve dealt just springs right back up. I don’t have many people to talk to about it as they don’t really have much empathy for my actions, she now lives close by and we talk every other day on a hot/cold basis. I hope somehow someway we can reconcile in the future as we were very compatible and share a lot of the same interests and truly enjoyed each other’s company. I can’t fathom being with anybody else. I am just unsure on how to proceed.

2025.01.23 15:28 alesz1912 First Level 20 Boss Fight - Suggestions?
I'm having a huge boss fight soon for my players at level 20 (4 player party). At this point they are really strong, as we could expect, with a decent amount of strong magic items, mobility, tankiness, resurrection spells, and basically spells of all types.
The enemy is question is supposed to be an "Anti Christ"/Dark Messiah kind of Ascended Human turned corrupted Aasimar. Her abilities involve mostly flavoured light-based esque unique abilities and already existing spells but I'm struggling to think of fun/engaging and dynamic fight mechanics for the boss fight for such a high level party.
I'm talking about abilities that demand them re-positioning, strategic thinking and even mechanics that seem to be busted but may have 1 or 2 clever weaknesses. (This boss was planned from the start to be more of a "Action-Oriented boss" a la Matthew Colville style for those who has seen that video.
Was thinking about spear of lights that summon lightwells that would be equivalent to magical darkness, only blinding effects instead plus sickening radiance damage all in a single package, to have them reposition themselves, also maybe teleportation based on reflections (Like Kirazu's abilities from One Piece), but I still think need more abilities and mechanics in tune with her background that may be interesting and surprise players to keep them on their toes.
Any ideas?

So while I'm a big fan of beam travel, which could get you some pretty comfortable travel speeds in-system, most likely not every trip will be a 1+G burn the whole way. I would not expect it to be unusual for trips between planets to still take weeks. So I should expect sleeping through a trip to be a pretty common option. So I wonder what might be the set up for stasis pods in ships?
For context, I am speaking more of in-system interplanetary journeys than interstellar ones. If you're on a journey of decades or centuries to another star, it makes sense to invest in proper cold storage and medical facilities complete with nanite resurrection baths (Isaac depicts this well in Life as a Planetary Explorer starting at 5:40). No, I'm talking more about the more casual experience a citizen might experience, say, while on route from Europa to Ceres. Time frames of days or weeks or maybe months, not years or centuries. And for simplicity's sake I'm assuming minimal or no cybernetics if possible, for a baseline.
Would such a torpor sleep or medical coma require a specialized pod, or could that feasibly be done in your bunk to save mass? Would you want to place them in the escape pods (if you have those)? Alternatively, might sleepers' minds enter VR while their body still rests? If you were the captain of a ship, what would your setup be?
