Seems like most streams these days are just AI calls. We came here to see the main event, which is Kit calling scammers and trying to waste their time. We love his comedy when doing so. The AI is far inferior to the magic Kit brings when he chats with scammers. Seems like when he finally decides to call he purposely curtails things after about an hour or so. Doesn't seem interested in REALLY wasting their time anymore. We used to see multi hour calls and we just don't get that anymore. AI calls should really only serve to talk to scammers when Kit is offline. Maybe he can introduce snippets every once in a while but Kit, the man himself, is funnier and more interesting than not very good AI voices. And lastly, bro get a space heater. You stream from your garage and it's winter and he hasn't thought to get one.

I don’t live in BI full time but we have a cabin there up in Mountain View and want to spend more time there as we head further into the empty nest phase of life.
I have been thinking about making a career change lately, and trying to think of something that would be useful to the community on the island. The idea of becoming a solar technician/engineer popped into my head last night, as it seems like there might be transferable skills from my current profession. I’m curious if that’s considered a useful and needed skill on the island, or is it already an oversaturated field?

Had my first documented AFib just before Christmas and I've got a referral to an EP. I've had steadily increasing arrhythmias and BP (150/100 on and off since maybe October) for about a year at this point (PVC, PAC, SVT, ectopic, and now AFib). No real idea on the root cause of any of it. My thought is I should go to the EP and advocate for a cardiac MRI but wondered what you wish you would have known or done back when you started your journey?

Ok so For 2 months now, I had a terrible influenza, what really was affected is my left lung; Things got worse to the point where I was coughing blood with my phlegm. And my lungs were so tired from coughing all this time it feels like my left lung is punctured now, and I have to breathe slowly; because it's so painful otherwise. Luckily I am better now after I finally was able to go to the doctor and take medication. Issue I was also have a chest X ray which may be expensive in my countries currency is it ok if I wait for it like my other medical tests?

[ENTRY] Ceaco - 'tis the season - 550 pieces Lucky thrift store find that was still sealed. But overall poor quality, with quite a bunch of pieces being bent and the top layer with the print separating from the lower layers. Also a few false fits on the fireplace, not too bad because it's only 550 pieces and has a lot if easily distinguishable areas. I liked the picture a lot. Ceaco for me seems to be hit or miss quality wise. Entering since it's snowing outside the window.

2025.01.23 17:22 Front-Reading8672 Ich bin ständig krank - Ärzte finden keinen Grund dafür

Ich (26f) bin ständig krank. Mindestens einmal im Monat hab ich zumindest ne Erkältung, alle 2-3 Monate irgendwas heftigeres wie Mandelentzündung, Lungenentzündung, Bronchitis, Grippe oder sonst was. Da bin ich dann meist auch zwei Wochen krankgeschrieben.
Ich hab zwar nen super lieben Arbeitgeber der da auch echt Verständnis zeigt, aber irgendwann hört das Verständnis natürlich auch auf. Ich bin gefühlt öfter krank als ich gesund bin.
Ich war auch schon mehrfach deswegen beim Arzt, der hat auch Blut abgenommen, mich auf jegliche Mängel gecheckt aber nix gefunden. Der meint einfach Joah, dann sindse eben einfach anfällig. Gesund ernähren, Sport machen, Stress vermeiden, dann wird das schon.
Nur tue ich das ja schon längst. Ich ernähre mich gesund, mach 3x die Woche Sport, Rauche und Trinke nicht, trinke jeden Morgen mein Actimel und nehme einen Immunbooster. Aber es scheint alles nix zu helfen.
Als Kind war ich auch oft krank, das hat sich dann aber als Teenie wieder gelegt. Vor etwa zwei Jahren hats dann wieder angefangen und ich bin einfach nur noch ratlos.
Ich weiss ihr seid alles keine Ärzte aber vielleicht habt ihr ja ne gute Idee was ich noch tun könnte. Vitaminmängel hab ich keine (wurde erst letztens wieder getestet)
