my team will be travelling to Charlotte in early April and are looking for fun corporate group activities to get into. rather than doing a dinner, we prefer an interactive night. last year we did Topgolf and the vibe was nice. some sat out and just enjoyed catching up, others were just eating, and most played a few rounds of golf ofc.
looking for something similar but more fun and true to the area! we'll stay downtown so it'd be great to hear what's out there. saw some stuff on brewery tours too... a bit skeptical but open to suggestions

Not necessarily the same person—minimal theism is consistent with an infinite succession of briefly-lived omniscient beings. Presumably however most believers of minimal theism, such as Christians, think there is a single eternal omniscient individual.
Let us call hyperdeterminism the strange hypothesis that (i) for every moment t, there is a proposition, the state proposition of t, that describes the qualitative state of the world at t, and (ii) given any two state propositions s and s’ (for some t and t’), s entails s’.
Notice that hyperdeterminism entails determinism as classically defined, which says, besides (i), that (ii’) given any two state propositions s and s’, the conjunction of s with the laws of nature entails s’.
My view is that minimal theism entails hyperdeterminism. Here is my argument, in a very sketchy manner:
1) let s be the state proposition for some time t. 2) let s’ be any other state proposition. 3) by minimal theism, someone x is omniscient at t. 4) by 3, x knows at t that s’ is true. 5) by 1 and 4, that x knows that s’ is true is part of s. 6) by factivity of “know” and 5, that s’ is true is part of s. 7) by 6, s entails s’.
So we’ve shown that given minimal theism, any state-proposition entails every other state-proposition, which is hyperdeterminism.
Now look: hyperdeterminism implies every state-proposition is equivalent to every other. Isn’t this inconsistent with the fact that there is change, i.e. that the world is in different qualitative states at every time? If so, and since there is change—here is my open hand; now it is closed—we can assure ourselves that hyperdeterminism, and therefore minimal theism, and therefore most theistic doctrines, are false.

The thing is i want to keep them forever because i already leveled them up much and in fear of them just despawning i cryopodded all of them and put them in cryofridge for now.

Yesterday morning I woke up with a bump under my chin. I thought it was cystic acne since I’ve been getting a lot of those on my neck recently but then I remembered there are submental lymph nodes there. Last night I developed a cough and today I tested positive for covid (I don’t feel that bad thankfully).
Why did only one of submental lymph node swell? What makes certain lymph nodes swell over others? I’ve only had the ones on the side of my neck swell when I’m sick. I had the flu earlier this month and the lymph nodes on the side of my neck swelled. Why didn’t those swell this time?

Immer wieder der selbe scheiß, Man fliegt ja wirklich oft aus der ranked Lobby(liegt auch manchmal an meinem Internet aber halt nicht immer) damit kann ich ja noch leben, aber wenn man dann nicht mehr beitreten kann und dann ne abbruchstrafe kriegt(vom ruf jetzt einmal ganz abgesehen), kotze ich ab, das kann einfach nicht sein! Dann kommt aber noch dazu, dass man bei der Webseite zum bugs melden(R6FIX) dann seine ganzen PC Daten eingeben muss um etwas zu melden, weil die heruntergeladene Datei nicht eingefügt werden kann und selbst das nicht nichts bringt. Ich spiele dieses Spiel wirklich sehr gerne, es ist mir minecraft und gta mein Lieblingsspiel aber ich musste schon die letzten 4-6 Seasons Pause machen, weil mich das so abgefuckt hat. Habe jetzt diese Season wieder angefangen und wieder mates gefunden zum zocken und jetzt geht es wieder los. I hate it.

Gender has always been the question for me, as far as I can remember. When I was young, I snuck undergarments from my mom's laundry and loved wearing them, which I quit doing after an incident where I was caught. I have never had any far-male or far-female behavioral characteristics, although I do have a healthy feminine body for a guy. For a while, my identity (not just gender identity but who i am as a whole) felt like a static blur until I got in a relationship with another guy about 2 years ago where I started to find who I am. I found I enjoy being treated like a girl, I enjoy when people call me by something other than a guy, and for a while now I've reinvested my thought into clothes.
Whenever I wear female undergarments, it feels like "this is right" and I feel a sense of pride, a sense of glad to be who I am whenever I look down and see my body with those garments on, like I'm more complete and happy to be what I am When I wear said garments. I even tossed in my skirt into the wash a few weeks ago and was happy to see it was put into my basket. I've always felt a deep comfort Whenever I wear those garments, and it's given me some time to think about surgery, wether or not i want to alter my body like that for a lifelong little-more-than-just-a-dream to be a full on girl and I've consistently decided to answer the question of surgery when I'm older and have a solid grasp on the idea of the consequences, yet I don't feel uncomfortable when I think on it. I want to tell others about how I've thought many times of wanting to be a girl, dress far outside of the southern norms that have been pushed onto me, imagine myself as a girl and think comfort upon that thought, be referenced as a girl, experience the body of a girl, those thoughts have been in my mind, quite literally, as far as I can remember but only in recent years have I been able to recognize, process, and cope with some of them. Many of my friends know me as the femboy, my family aswell, but I feel like telling those people that I want to be a girl is a leap that would make both of us uncomfortable during that conversation.
I've thought about trumps statement on the US recognizing only traditional genders and I've had a split opinion: thinking nothing of his statement and simultaneously, not being legally allowed to change my body and documents later on if I do make that decision.
I want to come out as a girl one day and be referenced as one and eventually fulfill my lifelong (idk if it's an obsession or a dream) with living in my dream body.
I don't think I was born wrong, I think that I had lost the gender gamble. I did believe like I was born wrong a while ago considering I only recognized traditional genders for the longest time (until said recent years). I wouldn't say I'm asking for advice per se but I do wonder how I would tell those close to me that I want to be a girl, that I want to dress like one all the time, that I prefer to be referenced as one.
