Someone is selling a Rancilio Silvia on marketplace for 300 dollars. They state that it needs a new steam valve and gasket kit for the head. The valve looks easy enough to replace, although I don't know what they mean by gasket kit... maybe for the valve replacement. Is this a good buy? Any other concerns to look for? We currently have a super auto,but i would like a traditional machine to play with on the weekend when I have time.

2025.01.23 17:33 ThrowRAbells I think my neighbors are smoking something weird next door and the smell is bothering me
My neighbors wake me up at 9am every morning coughing like they are dying. A bit later I get a scent of what I can describe as like corn chips, pledge cleaner and a shitty scented candle. It stinks up my entire apartment. I’m getting pretty annoyed by this routine and I’m not really sure what to do.
I know it’s not weed because it doesn’t smell like weed. I used to smoke weed so know the smell but cant identify a different smell. If it’s like crack or fentanyl or something though I absolutely am not ok with being exposed to it in any way.
What can I do? I don’t really want to confront them I hate them just by hearing them talk through the wall. Thanks.

From the recent leaks, Simo's Valkyrie "Radzgriz" is the 12th of the Valkyrie Sister. Which made the last Valkyrie we haven't seen to be the 8th Sister by default.
It was believed that this Valkyrie in the slhouette + Alvitr and Hlokk are the Triplets among the Valkyries since they looks really similar, But because this last Valkyrie is the 8th while Alvitr and Hlokk were 10th and 11th respectively, Which mean that they couldn't really be a triplets anymore.
So instead of the Triplets, It's only Alvitr and Hlokk as a Twins while this Valkyrie just simply look similar.

This material (Mango Smile, Strawberry Nuggets, and Freebie) has been washed 5 times and I know there’s more in there. As I saw the amber liquid oozing from my pile I thought…man I just need to squeeze the shit out of this somehow 🤣. Or maybe rewash it some more idk I really don’t want to do that. Shot on ZV-E10, Sigma 18-50mm f 2.8, gimbal feiyutech scorp mini.
Have some questions! 1. Does it need colorgrading? Seems fine to me. Wasn't shooting in slog, was afraid that it would turn out too grainy, cause it was kinda dark. 2. Autofocus, what can I do with it? Sometimes it focuses not on what I want, like a mic stand instead of the guitarists and background instead of the crowd. While holding a gimbal seems impossible to me. Tried to dig in the settings, didn't fing anything/ 3. How should I expose so the crowd wouldn't be that dark and the band wouldn't be overexposed? thank you

I recently had lab work done, and my cortisol is literally double being on T the last few months compared to my normal base line prior to introducing it into my body. Have others experienced this? Potentially level itself out? My current protocol is 4mg T Cyp injected twice weekly (every 3.5days) totaling 8mg weekly for the last 8wks. I'd like to try dehydrating tiny shrimp and narutomaki for eventually putting into ramen. Perhaps even squid and imitation crab, also. I already have success with fried bean curd and shiitake, wondering if the 4 aforementioned ingredients would work out well. | (23M) currently work in a mid sized suburb outside of DFW TX. I got a job offer to move back home to a smaller town but still rural-suburban in CA. Currently make 45k, the offer was for 85k and a company truck. Is this a no brainer ? I love living in TX but this seems insane to pass up. I have a college degree in ag economics and the new job would be in agriculture sales and my current gig is not. I'd also be moving in with my parents and I currently pay 1300 in rent and utilities. To top it off, I currently have around 28k in student loans, currently making minimum payments of 300 on 10 year plan. I think if I moved I'd be able to do it in <1 year. Everyone l've asked says it a no brainer, is it really that simple?

This has cropped up in other subs such as nursing etc. Has anyone on here left the NHS as an OT and become a disability assessor?
There are lots of mixed reviews about the job some hate and some love. I'm feeling totally burnt out at the moment I work in an acute setting and due to poor management and lack of development opportunities I've kind of had enough of being an OT. I just feel like a discharge planner. I've been in this setting for a little while now.
I like the idea having more non clinical time and the option of working from home.
Any advice or information would be much appreciated around this assessor role or expierence of burnout and what's helped you get through it?
