A good point was made that when the Greek Scriptures don't say anything about a topic, the WT will then go to the Mosaic Law and try to glean a principle. They have done it with tattoos, birthdays as compared to wedding anniversaries, piercings, and other things. It's all a micromanaging, nitpicking, and it is true about a high control group. Look at how JW say "We are not supposed to ..."
Imho, if the texts don't go that much into a subject, that might mean that God doesn't want you to spend hours and hours over analyzing it and setting up your own rules. If everything is wrong and to be refuted, then what do you do? The only celebration is passing emblems.
I mean: What is done for fun? Everything trendy and popular is wrong to get into. Micro managing movies, tv, music, dancing, going to social venues, concerts... Smh.

She makes it seem like her tics don't discriminate. She'll say fuck and insult people to their faces, EVERYTHING is on the table.
Except slurs. Compare with someone like Sweet Anita who has literally ended her streams and muted her mic because she could feel herself about to blurt out her password or the N-word or something that would be truly horrible.
Baylen just says "funny" things. It seems fortunate that her tics not only understand comedic timing, but also cancel culture so they make sure to not get her in trouble. Traditionally I would just say "oh that's because those aren't her specific tic" but Baylen has no specific tics, just whatever seems to be quirky and funny.
She's the Zooey Deschanel of Tourette's.

I have been on the fence of leaving my company and every day I just grow more and more resentful. I have been here for roughly three years now. My original salary was 60k when I was hired. Since then I have received a 2% raise and a 3% raise to match “cost of living” which I would argue most definitely did not help. I now make just under 64k a year. I have a bachelors in computer science and 4+ years in a professional setting as an application analyst. They match 2% of my 401k which I find to be pretty bad. They changed my remote days from Thursday-Friday to Tuesday and Friday. On top of all of this, they downsized my team so now I am on call every 3 weeks instead of 4 and the work load increased without seeing any financial gain. Is this just how it is or do I need to look else where? I guess I should add that we do have 19 days of PTO so that is a big plus and my manager is quite possibly the most helpful and nicest person I’ve ever met. Thanks for any input!
