I've recently picked up rainbow looming because my daughter received some bands for Christmas and I've gotten out of control like a grown-up with new art supplies does. I used to crochet and occasionally knit, but had to quit because of carpal tunnel, so I'm already moving on to the complicated stuff with the loom. The problem is a lot of the cool patterns out there are hook only... Since Google doesn't search for what you ask for anymore, I'm having trouble finding how to unhookify the patterns until my brain manages to get more of a handle on loom mechanics. (I also don't know why people are doing it this way in the first place, even with cooperative hands. 😜Here, balance this band in a saddle shape in between two other bands without it touching the hook, then take it all off and reverse like this is Cirque du Solei instead of just using tools to hold everything neatly in place...) Anyway, does anyone have recommendations of resources or tips for switching between pattern types to make them more accessible? Here's my picture tax, pattern from YarnJourney on YouTube.
Also, this picture reminds me, I highly recommend one of the pointy hooks from I think a yarn knitting loom kit for a lot of pattern actions over the more round and curved rainbow loom hook. And a size D crochet hook for things like pulling a loop from the bottom of a stack of loops to finish off a pattern through the center opening of a peg. And regular metal E or F crochet hooks without handles for holding things like waiting flower petals or bands that stretch across the loom that it's recommended to use S clips for.

2025.01.23 18:48 Burner_Account7204 Toughsystem 2.0 drawers poor sealing
My local Home Depot has four of these Toughsystem 2.0 two-drawer units, and every single one has a bowed face to the drawers which make the seal basically useless. One is so bowed that rain falling straight down would probably run into the unit despite being shut. Are all the drawers like this or are these ones just poorly molded? Are the three-drawer any better?

I have always used average phones due to financial restrictions. Presently I have a 5 year old Motorola Hyper One I got from Costco. It's not that bad and does the job for me. I only use the phone for talk, text and entertainment (Reddit, YouTube and Instagram, no games).
It has a 12MP front camera and 2 rear cameras, one 64MP and the other 10MP. But I have noticed that the image quality is no where as close to say a Pixel, OnePlus and definitely not near an iPhone and Galaxy.
I compared the specs of this phone with the new S25, and for the most part I saw that they are similar (don't yell) - camera on paper has higher MP than S25 and battery capacity is almost the same.
I have an iPhone 13 as well for work and that take a better photos than my Motorola, so I certainly appreciate the image processing aspect.
I am considering an S25 solely for amateur photography - help me make that decision.

Looking for a large-grid refinery. Was playing on a server with friends and saw that one of the weapon mods we used came with a gigantic refinery and assembler, but the refinery was busted; massively tuned up Yield on it, to the point you only really needed to make one trip in a decent-sized miner for anything and you'd be set on that material for life, unless you were trying to build a death star.
We've since uninstalled the mod, since it kinda broke the balance of the game, and started a new world. I really liked the visual of the giant 4x4x8 refinery though. I've been browsing around, looking for a mod that would give us a large - but not broken - refinery.
I was hoping someone here could give me some recommendations though, so I don't have to slog through 300 steam-pages of refineries and refinery ships.

Plato’s Symposium talks about the myth of the Androgyne, where humans were split in half by Zeus, and ever since, we've been searching for our "other half" to feel whole again. But what if INTJs don’t need another half because they’re already complete?
Think about it: some individuals might have already achieved a profound sense of inner wholeness. They’ve built their lives around self-awareness, self-love, and fulfillment, so they don’t necessarily "need" someone to complete them. Instead, they might radiate a kind of independence and contentment that makes others feel unnecessary in their journey.
This isn’t to say that INTJs are incapable of love or connection, but their struggle to find a soulmate might not stem from a lack or flaw. It might actually come from the fact that they don’t have that internal "void" many people are trying to fill. Their soulmate might already exist within them—a deep, personal harmony that others are still striving to find externally.
So, for those of you out there who feel like you’re doing everything right but still haven’t found "the one," maybe this is why. You’re not incomplete. You don’t need someone to "fix" or "complete" you, because you’ve already done that for yourself. Blood Ball: A game similar to Rugby except considerably more violent. Played professionally in stadiums world wide and locally on the beaches in Redemption City (Key West, Florida) "Only the Bloodiest can be the Best."
Rules: * Play starts with the players in 7's rugby position. * When the whistle blows roll iniative. * Any weapon, items, or cybernetic can be used.
- Passing: You can only pass backwards or laterally. Passes are completed without the catcher making a roll if the passer's DV is met, and the catcher is undefended. Passes are made using grenade launcher DV tables.
- Catching: If there are defenders the catcher has to roll to catch, If your number his higher than the defenders you caught the ball. When the ball is thrown kicked or passed any nearby defenders can attempt to steal the ball without using an action.
- Actions: You can use your action for any action listed in the book. You can hold actions to pass, kick, grab a player, or steal the ball etc.
- Kicking: You can make a kick forward. If you make a kick while defended, defenders can steal, if they beat your roll for the kick. On a kick the catcher has to roll to catch. The DV is the distance on the grenade DV table.
- Scoring: When a player makes it over the goal line that's 5 points. After a goal the team can kick the ball from where the player scored for 2 more points. When play is restarted for an lineout or a goal, reroll initiative. First team to get to 27 wins.
