Last week, during my interview with Duke MGM, the admissions committee mentioned that if we're admitted or waitlisted, we would have the opportunity to attend the Duke recruitment visit scheduled for February 23–25, 2025.
Earlier today, I also received an email from Duke stating: "This is an invitation from OBGE to visit Duke and learn more about the program(s) to which you applied. If you are invited by more than one program, you will need to choose one of the dates for your visit. Duke School of Medicine programs release admission decisions on a rolling basis, and offers of admission may be received before or after the campus visit. All official application decisions (i.e., admissions offers) are communicated by Duke’s Graduate School."
I’m feeling a bit confused about the process. My application portal hasn’t been updated since the interview, and I’m unsure how to interpret this communication. Has anyone else experienced something similar or have insights into how this works? Duke is one of my top choices, so I’d appreciate any clarity or advice!

Hi everyone, I hope this is the right place to post, I'm in the LA area and hoping someone here can offer some advice. I'm a MFT grad student. For one of my assignments, I have to interview a child. I realized that I simply don't know anyone who has a child. To make it worse, I need to have it video recorded. I have been struggling and I spoke to my professor, and she made an exemption for me that I just need to record myself and it can be done remotely. Still, I can't for the life of me find anybody. I am borderline thinking of switching schools if I can't complete this project.
Unfortunately, I don't really belong to any types of groups, churches, etc. I still have about a month, and have even thought about joining or volunteering at some group within this time? I do have a handful of friends and coworkers, but their children are grown. I was also thinking as a last resort to go to the library and ask a parent if I could interview their child, which I feel is a bit weird and borderline creepy. I was also thinking of making a post on facebook, but feel like that is the same thing. Who would want to agree to that? In the meantime, I am reaching out to classmates. Wondering if anyone can help me or offer some advice?

2025.01.23 22:20 IDKM- how to avoid the sweat
i recently started getting into the game and so far i had only played the PvE mode but then i noticed that by playing PvP i got more tickets and gems and decided to switch. i wish i was dead. i've tried several decks with several heroes but i don't have enough cards to make a competent deck. all i can build is a mixed one and hope that i get the right cards in the right order. for some reason i only get paired with people level 35 (i'm 19) or higher and they all have fully built decks with legendary and event cards. i win 1 in every 4 games, i've played 40+ games trying to get from lvl 15 to 20 and i'm still 19.
is there anything i can do or should i just retire to PvE until i've farmed enough daily missions and weekly packs to build something good?
