I am looking for some assistance on the best practices for the following.
I will be moving from one large unRAID server into two smaller unRAID servers.
The current server has 16 disks with double parity.12x 14TB disks, and 4x 8TB disks. All 16 disks are in a single array and all shares are available to all disks.
The new setup is to have one server with 12x 14TB disks in double parity, and one server with 4x 8TB disks with single parity.
Moving the equipment itself is easy, but preserving the data is my main concern.
I would like to start separating which disks have which shares. Along with dropping one of the 8TB disks so that I can make it a parity disk.
What is the best course of action to complete this task? I am still using this server currently, and would like to avoid downtime (outside of moving the physical hardware) as much as possible.

my PC from time to time just stops sending data to the monitors and they enter power saving mode, nothing i do helps other then restarting my PC by holding down the power button
its like my GPU is crashing or something but it still lights up so im guessing its not just disconnecting entirely
if im in a discord call i can still hear the people there but the game audio is basicaly stuck on one track (or like the last sound that was on like a gun shot that keeps firing again and again)
this has been happening twice a month for the past half a year or so and i just cant find out why
please help

I applied to this company earlier this week and received a job offer immediately the following day. It is an onsite graveyard shift position from 10pm to 7am on weekdays. The basic salary was initially 25k but i was able to negotiate for 30k. There are 3 SLs and 3 VLs upon regularization (which is extremely few IMO).
My estimated commute time is 1 hr 30 mins one way. Though it may be less because of lesser traffic at graveyard hours.
It is a junior position for a software developer role. I am practically a fresh grad so this might be a good job to gain experience. However, I'm worried I might not last long here because the position doesn't seem like it is entry level. Yes, I passed the screening but I felt like it was rushed. And it is for a junior role (with at least 1 year exp).
The hiring manager told me that i would shadow a team and act as a backup developer while working at internal applications in the meantime. Sounds exciting but i just dont have experience doing these things at all.
Do you guys think this is an opportunity worth grabbing?

Hi all,
I just wanted to share a picture of Kaiju Axie (formerly Miasma), my kids where having a hard time remembering Miasma and but they and my husband really like Kaiju anime and movies and my daughter insisted on the middle name of Axie. So there you go. Anyway it's been one week since I've brought them home and they are looking so much better in my opinion. Kaiju went to eating from every other day (supposedly at the store) to eating twice a day for me and looks to have rounded out some. Their frills also look so much healthier, frillier and purpler. Even their coloring in general looks better.
They are currently tubbed with a seachem prime treated water change every 24 hours and have some Indian almond leaves in their tub as well. I am even getting Kaiju to eat the worms from the reptile twizzer things I bought to feed them.
I just wanted to share a nice update and share pictures.
Side note just because I think it's funny. My daughter sits next to Kaiju's tub once a day to talk to them and insist they are a girl. Who knows she may be an Axolotl whisperer.

I have seen more and more debate about this and want to see what you all think/what scripture really says. Since during biblical times there was not really a dating period like there is today, is it a sin to have sex before marriage despite having very strong committed relationship, but are not married yet? For example, being in a multi year relationship where you have stayed fully committed and loyal to each other and have even talked about marriage in the long run. Is it a sin in context with today’s relationship standards in terms of what the Bible says?
What does the Bible say about this and how should I go about interpreting it?

I've been using a Sharpmaker + the CBN rods for many years to maintain my own knives and I get pretty good results. But I've gotten interested in learning freehand technique, as well as expanding my arsenal for extremely dull knives (like my siblings and parents have) which the Sharpmaker takes an agonizingly long time to fix. The Shapton Pro 1000 seems to be highly recommended for beginners here, and supposedly behaves more like a 700-800 grit stone. I'm wondering if going a bit coarser with something like the GlassStone 500 would still be a decent surface to learn on while also rounding out my toolkit with some fast steel removal for fixing up very poorly maintained blades. Or can the Pro 1000 still handle even those tasks with a few extra minutes of work?

I have a theory that Lumon is an AI company tasked with developing a complete human consciousness and possibly a complete human. I do not think this is for nefarious purposes- more like reproducing humans on another world after a multigenerational space journey. AI has difficulty with understanding and reproduction of emotions- I think MDR is separating out codes for different emotions to study. O&D is involved in art which is difficult for AI to understand as well. Not sure about the goats yet. Religion/ philosophy is also difficult for AI and the cult like/ worship atmosphere at Lumon may be a result of this. I believe some of the supervisory staff is fully AI as well- that’s why Milkshake is so rigid with rules/ perks and seemingly is on call 24/7. An AI child can work there since it’s not human. Don’t have all the answers but I’m trying to get to the overall purpose of the company and I’m frequently high watching so …….
