Hello, I need some help with my FAFSA situation. My sai for the past two tax seasons is way too high to qualify for a grant but Iâve been accepted into a nursing program. My financial aid counselor told me about the professional judgement application and said it is a lengthy process that may not even be approved. Right now I work a job that requires me to work 60ish hours per week and obviously wonât be able to balance this job and an accelerated nursing program so Iâm planning on leaving. Iâm not able to get personal student loans because I had defaulted loans in the past and that also disqualifies me from several scholarships. I also donât have a GPA yet and have a GED diploma instead of the the traditional HS diploma which cuts my scholarship opportunities even further. Right now, Iâve accepted/exhausted every student loan option available to me and still have to pay 1.6k per month on tuition, totaling roughly 27k within an 18montj period- which I wonât be able to afford since Iâm going to be part time and low hourly wage. Iâve read that it canât be a voluntary employment/income change in cases like this. However, I am also wanting to leave the demanding schedule because my mom has dementia and is progressing and I need to be able to help her more than I have been. My siblings and stepdad do what they can, but we all have full time commitments with work and me starting nursing school. Would this make a difference with my professional judgement application? My financial aid counselor told me he only helps with the fafsa/federal aid portion of tuition so Iâm kind of at a loss.
Iâm 32, independent student, withdrew from school 4x in my early 20âs because I had severe anxiety/depression but havenât attempted college for 10+ years. (Life and professional responsibilities have pushed me to overcome this)

 | I was in Terminal D (near Gate D1) when I saw a LEGO store. It looks like an official LEGO store, but the employee told me it isn't, that's its just licensed to look like an official store. Apparently it was opened around October 2024. Most of the sets are priced higher than at LEGO. I was also told that you cannot earn points or redeem points, and they don't participate in GWP, either. You can have your purchases shipped if you don't want to take them with you, but I didn't ask whether shipping is included (or minimum purchase amount) or if it's a completely extra cost. Personally, I don't see the value in buying and shipping from this store when you can just as easily buy directly from LEGO, earn/use points, pay a lower retail price, and get a GWP if there happens to be one at the time. Collecting rgs but I love the Zakus so short of hunting down some of the pbandai rg zakus this is my last until i move from rg kits. i was confused why Johnnys is so hard to find because from my light research its a standard rg kit. Also using gloves to apply waterslides is a gamechanger. Unlike my last Zaku where waterslides were coming off and sticking to my hands so much its (đ€) now its happened just once.
