James 2: 14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? --- Wow, I could spend much time on this, pondering, praying, day after day for some time surely, but I also know that God will keep teaching me about faith in other ways, so I don't need to. I can keep reading on as I do, living one day to the next while forgetting the day that came before and not being able to imagine the day that will come, as typical as it will be. I don't have to worry about it, because I have the faith, and I know that it is what God has given me. This verse talks about works, but I like to think of it as fruit. What is the fruit of the spirit? What is the fruit of righteousness? What is the fruit of faith? It is works, righteous works created by God. We don't do these things ourselves; we never could! I know when I had just what I thought was faith, but it didn't cause me to act, that it wasn't real faith at all. See, it's this interesting thing where we can be devoid of the faith we need, while still having enough to know we need more, and that we can believe in God with that little bit of faith even while being shown with it that we don't believe in Him enough, and then being led to see that it is simply our resistance that is keeping us from the experience. So the work that keeps us from experiencing the work of God is us resisting, and the work that has us experience great faithfulness is submitting, and allowing Him to do these things in us. It is by faith that we are brought to work, by not working against God but submitting to what He is doing in us. I am blessed because I can see where He has brought me, and He has brought me to do a work for Him, where I don't even feel that I am doing a single thing, I am only submitting to Him and allowing Him to use me. I love watching what He does with this body of mine as I get to be the pathetic TBI survivor that I am and am blessed by His miracles every single day. I have never imagined I would see so many people even just looking at the testimonies I give of the work of God happening in a real and personal way, much less imagining how God may be using these things to touch peoples lives (and all the direct thankfulness that has been expressed to me, praise God). I have nothing to say about it but that I have been faithful when presented with my own inadequacy, and have been experiencing God showing His grace through me, in spite of me still just being a wretched human being like anyone else. Glory be to the Lord. - Lord God in Heaven, thank you for your mercy to us. Thank you that you enable us to have faith, even as the depraved creatures we are, who deserve to be completely cut off from your love and righteousness. Thank you that you use your faithfulness to make us faithful, and then use that faith to get us to work, as you lead us, as you work through us and we trust in you. I have been experiencing this in a real and personal way for the first time in my life, and am so thankful, that even as I know how much I need you, you still bless others through what you do in me. I could only have a purpose on this earth if you give it to me, otherwise my life is completely meaningless and worthless, just living for me. Please continue refining me in this faith relationship, and please continue to do your work through me, even as I am undeserving. In your precious name I pray, Jesus Christ, amen.

Today as of, Thurs, Jan. 23, I had a dream of seeing a timer. I was in my house, it was in the exact same layout. I walked into my room and I looked at the wall, I saw a timer, red numbers. I ran outside then I saw my sister and mom leaving for work. I shouted at my sister telling her " THERES A TIMER IN OUR ROOM! THERES A TIMER IN OUR ROOM!" Both of us came back into the house and went to the room. I saw the timer placed on "2:03" I looked at it confused why the time was counting up and not down. I looked at my sister and she told me "well it says you have 15 minutes" then she left me there.

Does anyone have any servers or mod packs that are stable and have enough to do in them outside of running around fighting only wild Pokémon? My coworker: dont take it personally when X person exhibits typical jerk behaviois condescending.. I’m like in my head - i appreciate the kindness but I see everyone at work as NPCs and then there are the jerks who take out their trauma and dysregulation in others💀.. i’m like an anthropologist observing in a detached manner

The new "info" comes from u/Beautiful_Specific_1, an account dating back to September 17, 2020. At the very least, we can rule out this being someone making an alt-account just to troll. Additionally, as the only other posts are asking about math and pet axolotls, I don't think this is someone's alt account that they hopped back on just to troll. They vanished for 2 years, coming back 11 days ago to talk about tennis. Before that, they were... commenting on BetterCallSaul? chicanery
They claim they got the role by being related to a friend of Ari, which could be true. I don't think I've seen other va's corroborate that idea, but it's not impossible.
Important info: probably Brazilian or a big fan of Brazilian football, given the avatar. Nothing else really points to them being Brazilian so that's all we got. If we have any confirmation that Ari has Brazilian friends, we might be able to say this is real.
For the people saying "why would they need so much voice work," it's not implausible. If the game truly is this large, giving characters voice actors that aren't just TC themselves is likely.
Overall, I haven't a damn clue whether this is real or not. The only way this is fake is if a random guy got back on Reddit and wanted to be evil, or if tech master E1331 hacked a dormant account (or anyone else who wanted to troll)

So I am starting to take riding lessons at my college, in the hunt seat discipline. I have ridden exclusively sadddleseat for the last 9 years, riding in a hunt seat saddle maybe half a dozen times. I have a good seat and adjustable legs so I'm not too worried, but I feel like I will cause the rest of my lesson to slow down to meet me, as they have years of experience with jumping and other practices. Basically, I just need tips so I can be competent- like how do I half-seat the canter, how far forward is too forward, how hard is it starting to jump, etc. It's been kind of difficult to find resources online that give me all the information I need so I'd appreciate any help! It's also not possible to get private lessons there and I don't have a car to drive off campus to get extra help somewhere else.

- Wie kann ich mich am besten auf die Suche nach einem Praktikumsplatz vorbereiten? Habt ihr Tipps, wie ich am besten vorgehen sollte oder welche Strategien besonders hilfreich sein könnten?
- Welche Zusatzqualifikationen sollte ich mir neben der Umschulung aneignen? Gibt es bestimmte Programmiersprachen, Frameworks oder Tools, die aktuell gefragt sind und mit denen ich meine Chancen verbessern kann?

I have 2 groups in separate cages Both in critter nation cages (the girls in the double, the boys in the single soon to be upgraded)
The boy group got used to me so much quicker and are already learning tricks and free roaming
The girl group is still very skittish and not getting braver, in fact they’ve been getting more and more skittish and don’t even come out during free roam time.
I’m not doing anything different between them, yet the boys are progressing so much and the girls are a lot more scared.
They’re all from the same litter or related in some way except for 2 of the girls
I don’t understand what might be causing this?
