Hey Everyone! Haven't posted this removal before, although I have with my half sleeve. I don't hate this tattoo, it was my first at 19, but also wanted my skin back so i just let time do it's thing and focused more on my arm. Today I went in for my 7th session and pretty happy with my progress. I initially paid for 3 sessions, but then paid for full removal - i just paid the difference of the initial full removal cost thankfully.

2nd photo is various photos before any sessions, different lighting, etc.
3rd photo is recently, after 6 sessions. I don't take many pics of my legs so this is the best I could provide but I'm very happy!

I know there are engraving on demand businesses, which mostly will put your design on stainless steel cups, tumblers, flasks, etc. But I sell a unique product that I am doing the engraving myself for my customers. Are there businesses where I might be able to outsource the engraving and fulfillment? Essentially I would send my products to them which would be stored blanks. They would engrave and ship to my customers as orders come in. Is that a thing?

I have a Spigen Tough Armor case on my IPhone 12 and can't get this case removed, it fits that tight. I even emailed the company and they said to pry off the corners first, then work off the rest of the case. No go, won't budge and I don't want to damage the phone by wrestling with it too much. Any tips? Here's the thing though, no good reason really to take it off, it's just that I can't and that's bugging me.

Meine Freundin hatte diese Woche Geburtstag und hat vorher mehrmals, beim Schlendern durch das KdW primär, mich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass ihr besonders eine Uhr von Cartier gefallen würde. Das Modell ist sogar eines der günstigeren und gilt eher als Einstiegsmodell liegt aber trotzdem bei um die 4000€.
Sie ist wahrscheinlich darauf gekommen, weil ich selbst eine Cartier trage und zwar eine Santos. Dabei handelt es sich zwar um kein Original, aber das habe ich nie ihr gegenüber erwähnt. Die Uhr habe ich nur gekauft um etwas schickes zum Anziehen zu haben.
Ich verdiene zwar relativ gut und habe auch einiges Angespart (100+k, die größtenteils in ETFs stecken), sehe es aber nicht ein viel Geld für sowas wie eine Uhr auszugeben. Ich habe ihr deswegen eine hochwertige Nachahmung von der Uhr gekauft, die etwa 300 gekostet hat.
Zu ihrem Geburtstag habe ich ihr dann auch gleich gesagt, dass es sich nicht um ein Original handelt, dass ich aber trotzdem hoffe, dass sie ihr gefällt. Obwohl ihr die Uhr erst mega gefallen hat, hat sie, als sie davon erfahren hat, dass es sich nicht um ein Original handelt, ungehalten reagiert. Sie sagt ich wäre geizig und sie “wäre mir nichts wert.” Sie war richtig verärgert deswegen. BIDA? Ich wollte einfach nicht so viel ausgeben, aber ihr dennoch das Geschenk machen, das ihr gefällt

I've been reading a lot the last two years about all these publisher lawsuits around content scraping for AI training. Last I checked there's 27 lawsuits between the biggest publishers and biggest AI companies, representing billions of dollars of copyright claims.
Reddit did two content deals in 2024, one with OpenAI and I don't think they revealed the other. That's now 20% of Reddit's annual revenue. They're not alone, OpenAI is spending billions annually to buy content for training. Book publishers are paying thousands per book to authors to get permission to sell that book content for AI training.
That got me thinking, thousands upon thousands of businesses engage in content marketing to build credibility and drive inbound leads. And content marketing (if I understand properly) works best for service, knowledge, and speciality businesses that have a high per-client value and lots of client turnover, so they need a constant flow of new clients.
Well that's the same content that's most valuable for AI training. And when the AI ingests your content, your potential clients are getting your content from the AI instead of your website, so you lose the inbound opportunity.
Are you tracking how often your content marketing materials are getting scraped?
Have you estimated the value lost from your organization by "giving" that content to AI companies?
Are you doing anything to stop your content from being scraped, ingested, and monetized by someone else?

Long story short, I got surprised this year with my first camera (EOS T7) from my wife and kids for Christmas. It's been a want for many years now that I never could justify the expense myself. They got me the T7 Rebel kit with the EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III & EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II.
Since Christmas, I've been reading intro to photography stuff online on sites like www.findingtheuniverse.com. I've also been toying with the idea of taking a class, either online or at a local ju-co this summer, to learn the fundamentals. (I need to be hands-on to really learn.)
Right now, I am looking for a lens for my daughter's volleyball games. I had it at her tournament last weekend and kept the camera in sports mode (I was thinking of playing with the shutter priority settings but chickened out) with the 18-55mm lens for most of the weekend.
I took about 1200 shots over the 6 games, and overall, I am pretty happy for it being my first time out, and at least they were not bad enough for the other parents on the team to complain (to my face at least, lol).
I do feel like I needed more aperture to be able to increase my shutter speed, as I was missing the action I was trying to capture in a lot of shots. I seemed to capture the before and after, but the gap between shots was my goal. So, I guess my first question is, how much of this is user error needing to learn the timing of the camera better vs. shutter speed?
Looking at options for a new lens, I don't feel like I'll need much zoom since most of the time I am sitting not even 10 feet off the court with how many courts they cram into these convention centers. My very surface-level searching led me to be looking at the EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM & EF 50mm f/1.8 STM for my application, but I have no idea if I am missing anything.

The world of 2019 feels so different than what came after. There has been an energy and zeitgeist shift. I think the reason is when COVID happened a huge collective consciousness took hold. Collective consciousness can happen, usually in times of war or in modern times, during sporting events but the scale of COVID, the universality and social media created a unity of experience. I don't think I have a future of going to college due to a lack of support. The reason I don't think I have a chance in going to college is that I fucked myself out of a lot of scholarships chances due to having a GPA of 2.93. I can't get hired anywhere in this town I live in due to the "buddy system"(where people only hire their friends/buddys and not people like me who actually need the job. My last hope is a trade school that isn't income-based. Do you guys have any ideas, I'm running out of them.
