What's up all, I'm currently learning arabic, and I extremely dislike the fact that in 99% of the shows or movies, the subtitles don't match the audio, as a result of the subtitles being in standard arabic (MSA). Okay so I am choosing between multiple PhD offers (in different EU countries). Naturally there are more things to consider like a nice supervisor, interest in the project, decent pay etc. By now my choice is not as clear to me as I am enthusiastic about multiple!!
The thought just struck me but.....one of the projects involves zebrafish and I would be the only person in the department working with them. There are resources for me to get trained at a different institute to work with the fish. The thought just hit me that, if I am the only fish person, I might have no work-life balance if I end up having to feed fish every day. Including weekends. I found a paper with instructions to build an automated feeder system but it seems not to be a standard thing you can order. Sorry guys this seems like such a dumb thing to get worked up about but I need some practical advice. There's a shared technician between labs that can work for me on average 1 day per week but I am sure they won't say yes to coming on a weekend day....
For context: I will be doing experiments on ZF embryo's that don't require ethical review but I am seeing that this hurdle may arise maintaining the colony to get my embryo's from.
Help!?

Ok, so a few months ago I completed TLOU1 and absolutely fell in love with the story, characters, everything about the setting, the game play, and is probably if not my favorite game of all time. So if you are anything like me and loved part 1, youād wanna play part 2. I started my playthru and,(btw if you are still reading and donāt want it spoiled stop now) got to the part where Joel dies. And if you want me to be honest, as much as I adore Joel as a character, I was okay enough with him dying. You want to know why I was okay with it? One, because I āthoughtā that I would go on a badass mission to kill everyone Abby loves and Abby herself. In all fairness I was absolutely loving the game until I got to the theatre scene where Abbyās bitchass comes in and fucks up the game. This is where it went downhill, and I mean completely. I thought after this bitches dad unstuck some zebra that it would end the flashback and let me play as Ellie to get revenge and kill her, but NO. I CANT BELIEVE THEY BOTCHED THE ENDING SO BAD. I WOULDVE HAVE BEEN FINE IF I DIDNT HAVE TO PLAY AS ABBYS BIG ASS FOR THREE FUCKING DAYS AND ALMOST HALF THE GAME, I MEAN WHAT WHERE THEY THINKING?? Just flash forward to Santa Barbra and the ending would have been okay enough for me EVEN without Abby dying like she should have, but what Iām not okay with is that I SAT THROUGH THIS WHOLE THING PLAYING ABBY HOPING THAT ID GET TO WATCH HER DIE BUT NOOO, SHE LET HER GO?!?!? I DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE, THE GAMEPLAY WAS GREAT AND THE GRAPHICS WERE PROBABLY THE BEST IVE SEEN BUT HOLY FUCK! If I could get a refund and know THAT is what happened, after slugging thru playing Abby as fast as I can it ends with Ellie letting her go. Good lord.
If you read this far thanks for reading this, I needed to get it out and have no friends that play video games to talk to about this!

Hi guys,
I need some advice on dealing with negative feelings and staying motivated. Iām currently stuck in a job that Iāve been wanting to leave for years. As you can see from the title, I didn't succeed, it is pathetic and is eating me. Many applications have been sent, but most were either rejected or just mainly ghosted. Iāve managed to get a few interviews, but they didnāt work out, mostly because I didn't have as much experience as others, didn't have good enough cultural fit, or just simply because of discrimination (I don't speculate, they told it straight to my face). I began to feel hopeless and worried about my life being wasted on this non-important job.
Iām still trying to push forward by sending out more applications, but staying positive feels harder each day. Itās draining to put so much time and effort into something and not see results. On top of that, my commute takes hours because of the abnormal delays in the train system here. The time I spent waiting for the trains was the time I started to question the meaning of my life.
How do you guys keep a positive attitude and a hopeful spirit to continue these days? Any advice would be appreciated

I just purchased and installed Ableton Live 12 Intro (Education) and already drafted a song that I actually really enjoy, but canāt save or exportā or even screen recordā it because of authorization issues.
Every time I try to authorize it online it says that the license does not match the live intro installation. Iām assuming I may have to wait until my student verification has been verified, if anyone can confirm or deny this. If there is any way to save and export music in the meantime that would be great info as well.
Side Note: My Mac is fully up-to-date and Iāve switched my default browser to FireFox. Additionally, every time I click āAuthorize onlineā it brings me to the page with the s erial number and automatically selects Ableton Live Lite from the dropdown menu. Iāve even tried selecting the Live 12 Intro (Education) option prior to clicking āAuthorize onlineā, but still no luck.

Hello! Apologies if this is the wrong forum for it but I recently bought a Konica Big Mini 201 which is having a few issues (advertised as parts or not working so jokes on me). It seems the lens doesn't want to extend - all the gears line up, but it just does a little clicking sound then gives up - does anyone have any experience with this? I would post photos but it's quite hard to capture what it going on.

I sold cash covered puts on SMCI expiring 02/28 @ $33 ( 112 contracts) and collected a premium of $54k. Iāll also get interest on that cash until 02/28. Iām extremely bullish on this stock and I donāt mind holding on to this stock if it gets assigned ( probably Iāll start selling CC ) for time period that it turns green.
I blindly take 50% of the profit and save it as cash reserve for paying tax and reinvest the remaining 50% on long term stocks ( nvda, amzn, tsla, qqq, voo, vti)
Am I doing anything wrong here? Or need to take into account any other factor?
