Genre: Unsure, possibly a puzzle game that dealt with pushing blocks
Estimated year of release: 1995
Other details: I vaguely remember playing this game, and one of it's extra game modes involved playing mini puzzles to try to make a tic-tac-toe. If you won the mini puzzle, the square became mouse shaped, if you lost, it became cat shaped. I believe this was NOT the 'main' game mode. I also remember the music to it very well, unfortunately, I have no way to really put that in writing.

I've seen a bit of discussion in the past week here about how or what to do with Doug's $200, and thought it might be good to continue / centralize that discussion and pose some suggestions.
If you are in a position where this $200 is extra cash you may not otherwise depend on, you could use to contribute to a local charity or, if so inclined, contribute to a political campaign for a party of your choosing.
It is hard not to hear about the state of local food cupboards, community food banks, local community support organizations, etc.
Many of our fellow Ontarians have been accessing these supports in record number, and many of these organizations are operating over capacity as a result. In many cases, they have had funding cuts from different levels of government, and are fiercely reliant on the support from the community.
Organizations that offer community mental health supports, humane societies, food banks, supports for women and children, etc, have all been impacted by cost of living and if the government won't provide critical investment, they would welcome any supports they can get from Ontarians.
Further, we have both an upcoming provincial election expected to be called on one of the next two Wednesdays, and a federal election expected in late March / early April.
Candidates you support in the election will be looking for your financial support as well - not every campaign in the province will be lucky enough to have their accounts filled and may be limited in scope as a result. If you have a candidate running in your riding and have the financial flexibility to contribute some of your $200 cheque, it can go a long way supporting the teams behind the scenes.
If this cheque might be spent better on other things, there is nothing wrong with that decision, either.
As I have seen some discussion in other provincial / Canadian subreddits, and from our Premiers and Prime Minister - try to buy Canadian, especially given a 25% tariff threat continues to loom overhead.
Go to that local bake shop, take your family to get your skates sharpened from the local hockey stop, enjoy a meal with friends at that mom & pop restaurant.
However you choose to support local, that money will help your community.
If you have other ideas, put them out there!

Hello everyone. I Installed retroarch on my ps3 and got everything ready and set up. But I have a problem. For some reason when trying to download thumbnails nothing happens. I press X and it does not even show the small bar that says downloading. I have tried both thought the online Updater and from each game one by one. Also on demand download does nothing. Any help is appreciated!!

2025.01.23 21:01 Context_Important Management wants me to assemble batteries, I don't know if this is 100%
I'm an EE technologist at a lighting manufacturer. Recently we've been doing pcb upgrades on one of our train control units, these units have a backup battery that the manufacturer no longer produces.
Management decided to get lithium cells and have engineering design the control circuit instead. I'm the main responsible to do the pcb upgrades but I am concerned about what I'm asked to do. No only I was told to an assembler job but I also have safety concerns, I'll be handling the lithium cells. Anything happens and those things will catch fire, and apparently some already did while they were testing the prototypes.
I've even seen videos where plants have special work stations over a water tank to drop the batteries in case of fire.
Can I refuse to do this job? Are my concerns justified? Anyone here works with high capacity batteries?
