2025.01.23 20:51 lumineisthebest Currently being investigated for IBD and tonight was miserable, I just need to rant
I have seen my consultant at the hospital after having tummy problems for a few months going on a year and I’m having a colonoscopy on Saturday due to the fact my symptoms line up with IBD and my consultant wants to rule it out.
Tonight was absolutely terrible. I ate my dinner, was absolutely fine for a hour. I was actually gaming at my desk and all of a sudden get the worst stabbing pains in my lower tummy. I asked my mum to grab me a hot water bottle, it helped only a little and then I got a sudden urge to rush to the bathroom.
Then pain.. the pain that followed had me screaming out and I was seriously considering getting my mum to ring 999 as I had never felt this much extreme agony before in my 24 years on this planet. It felt like someone was pulling my insides out, stretching them. Not only that I had to grab the mop bucket in the bathroom to throw up in as I had it coming out both ends (sorry TMI) Once I had actually gone I felt better and the pain got better, but still was very uncomfortable.
I’m so grateful to now not have that feeling in my stomach and will never take advantage being pain free ever again. I have had flare ups before but this one was so, so much worse. If anyone has ever gone through this, is there hope? Thank you :(

I'm currently playing a deadeye LA build and still loving it. I'm level 93 and half way to 94. Beat a few pinnacle bosses but still a few to go. There's definitely room for min/maxing still as well, but clearing most content is very easy.
My question is, do we think an economy reset is coming soon? There's a decent amount of time investment for a new character. I'd hate to start a new one, get where I want it to be and start over so soon. I know I don't have to participate in new leagues but I will for many reasons. I'm what you'd call a hardore casual lol. I don't mind longer leagues because it gives me plenty of time to accomplish everything while the hardcore players have done it all in the first month or less. But i do like a fresh restart every now and then.
Thoughts? Do we think a new earth access league is around the corner , or do we still have a while before then?

2025.01.23 20:51 spicydingofloat network sharing a drive that is faster than LAN for 2 PCs next to each other?
PC 1 has a drive shared over ethernet to my router that PC2 often accesses. Sometimes the 1gb ethernet connection is too slow. They sit next to each other on a shelf. Is there a faster solution? If so what are they? PC1 is older.
Also am I correct in that even using an older spinning platter HDD my bottle neck will be the network even if I upgrade to a 2.5gb or 10gb wired connection?

I feel doubts about having Aspergers despite having symptoms. Long story short I was diagnosed as a kid but my dad always fought against it (my parents are divorced). Dad would always say I just hated work and whatever else. According to my mom, my teacher would warn her to get me tested, so did my 1st grade teacher, I think. Any kind of therapy I got was taken over by my dad who would twist things and make me look bad, even when I was a teenager, so I stopped going.
I find myself having different symptoms of it, such as being easily emotional. I stim randomly with different things and I’ve been told I’m impulsive. I’ve debated on listing other traits of myself. As a small child I wanted anything yellow. I was also sensitive to sound and hated being near the loud fire trucks which hurt my dad’s feelings because he’s a fireman.
I used to repeat words and hand gestures a lot too. I'm going to try getting ahold of old medical records as well, I'm just not sure what I should do. I went to a psych a few years ago and she said I have only ADHD and put me on several meds that didn’t help much. I have massive knowledge of things I like, but I'm not good at math. My handwriting and drawing is terrible.
I’m sorry this is scattered. I genuinely hate myself and I’d feel so sick finding out I don’t have it after all this time since it would mean I’m just insane.

Due to personal convictions, I avoid anything that feels like betting, and in my opinion, CFDs and similar instruments fall into that category.
I’m looking for a way to trade XAUGBP or XAUUSD quickly, but with specific conditions: no leverage, no overnight fees, no margin accounts—just using “cash” directly from my account.
To clarify, I’m not interested in making fast money. However, I want the flexibility to trade as frequently as I like (even 100 times a day if needed) or hold funds in GBP for a month if I don’t have time to monitor the account. Essentially, I’m looking for “real” spot forex trading.
Some people have told me this is impossible, but I know it’s not because I’m already doing something similar through my bank. My bank offers accounts in XAU, EUR, and other currencies. The issue is the spread—it’s killing me! The minimum spread is 4%, and it sometimes goes up to 7%.
Does anyone have advice or suggestions on how to achieve this with lower spreads?I’ve considered ETFs (and I already trade them), but the T+2 settlement cycle makes fast trading impossible .Thanks so much for your help! I'm considering switching to Starlink Roam to drop the second phone and move away from AT&T as my primary bandwidth source. I was adopted from Guatemala when I was 2. I always thought I was mixed with something else. I was surprised that I did come back indigenous to either Mexico or Guatemala as my skin is lighter, but glad that I finally know.
I also found a biological half aunt and cousin. I am hoping that they accept my invite at some point to determine if they know their lingiage a bit more than I do.
