I've been doing a petless hunter run on Doomhowl for my hardcore run, and its been an absolute blast. But now I'm getting up there in level where I don't feel like I'm really afraid of anything in the wild. Utilizing good kiting path planning, traps, wing clip, counterattack, with deterrence and feign death if I ever get into a spicey encounter. I'm now torn on my talent pathing. Under Beast Mastery: I have 5/5 in improved Aspect of the Hawk (mostly for group content) and 2/5 in improved aspect of the monkey to increase my avoidance rate for when I do pull aggro in groups or when I end up in melee (which is frequent). Under Survival: Improved Deflection 5/5, Improved Wing Clip 5/5, Savage Strikes 2/2, Clever Traps 2/2, Suvivalist 2/5, Deterrence 1/1, Surefooted 2/3, Improved Feign Death 1/2, Killer Instinct 1/1, and Counterattack 1/1. I just hit lvl 38, so my defense, bow, and 2h sword skills aren't maxed out. I guess there isn't really a wrong answer here, but I would like to keep this ship smooth sailing. Should I max out Improved Aspect of the Monkey, or should I be rushing Wyvern Sting to have that extra bit of damage to add on my Immolation trap damage (stings don't stack in classic so after the 6 seconds I would need to serpent sting)? I know the whole idea behind hardcore is to not die but at this point, when things do reach me, I typically get a raptor strike + wing clip immediately and start kiting out. Hace poco cumplí 19 y mande a renovar la licencia de carro, mandé la carta y todo eso y se suponía que ya estaba lista, me dijeron que fuera a los días a reclamarla (solo faltaba ir, pagar y ya) la cosa es que una cosa llego a la otra y lo terminé posponiendo y nunca fuí porque que puta pereza ir a tránsito, eso queda en la puta mierda, no pasan busetas entonces le toca a uno un pedazo a pata y toca madrugar. Mi pregunta es, será que la descartaron porque nadie apareció? eso paso hace unos meses y la vdd no quiero ir a perder el tiempo y la plata de la buseta, así que si alguien sabe que me ilumine un poco se agradece

I have decomposed a CR2 raw file into L.A.B. layers.
When I look at each layer, the screen only shows a B/W representation of each L, A, and B channels. I cannot see the resulting color image.
I need to see this so I can make decisions on opacity of curves on the A & B layers. I want to see the effects before I re-compose.
If I blindly add some curves, the effect shows up when I re-compose.

2025.01.23 22:30 LolwutMickeh European vs. American roasters
So 2025 is already well underway, and I find myself wanting to try a LOT of coffee this year.
Looking at the Roastful 2024 Top 50 list (I hope they make one for this year!), almost half the roasters on that list are from the EU. However, there is a big skew towards roasters that offer mostly traditional, washed coffees. I understand this is due to co-ferments, yeast inoculation, maceration techniques still being quite novel in coffee, and thus do not always produce great or consistent results.
However, over the past year there have been quite a few roasters becoming popular on funky and adventurous coffees. B&W, Luminous, S&W, Hydrangea, Brandywine, etc. to name a few.
I don't want to argue if it's a fad, that it's bad for the coffee industry, or draw any parallels to other industries,but I do acknowledge that it's still in its infancy and can use come better quality control sometimes.
What you might notice on the list I named, is that they're all US based roasters. I am EU based, and let me tell you: It's either very expensive or downright impossible to get US-based roaster coffees in Europe. They straight up don't ship to EU, or you pay upwards of 30-50 dollar shipping. That is on top of import taxes that need to be paid on a per-country basis. Buying 50 bucks of coffee can run you upwards of 130+ dollars.
In contrast, US has some places that import a lot of EU roasters coffee, and while you might pay a bit of a premium over it, it's nowhere near the same cost.
Some US roasters have even started partnering with EU roasters to roast and distribute locally, like Onyx has done with Manhattan coffee (one of the contributors of Manhattan's roast quality diving off a cliff btw, among others. Cursed with insider info on this).
Looking at EU's roaster choices, you have some very nice offerings from Netherlands in roasters like DAK or Friedhats, but almost all 'well rated' roasters are mostly from Scandinavia. Thankfully for my palate they generally do roast pretty light, however they are as mentioned earlier quite uneventful washed coffees. Nomad sometimes has exciting offers, but their quality too has gone downhill lately.
All this is to say - what does someone based in EU have to do to get some fun and experimental coffees thrown their way? It seems like it's all happening elsewhere, and that wouldn't be such a bad thing if you could at least get it for a normal price.
I'm curious on other's people's opinions that have tasted a lot of EU and US based roasters, what their preference was, and how you would compare roasters from other locations. Are you US based but prefer simple, light Nordic roasts? Or are you EU based and know of places that sell fruit bombs?

2025.01.23 22:30 ratarley ULPT Request: How to annoy my roommate and her GF
I've been living with my roommate for almost 2 years now and she is the laziest and most disrespectful person I have ever met. She leaves garbage everywhere and is constantly high. Her girlfriend is at my apt 24/7 despite this being a violation of our lease.
Both of them are extremely loud, stomping upstairs, slamming all doors and cabinets and playing music and shows obnoxiously loud. They also use up probably 80% of our shared kitchen space and are constantly cooking which makes it difficult for me to eat. My roommates car has had a flat for 6 months now, and both of them use the GF's car that is parked in guest parking every night, causing them to slam the door next to my room all the time.
I'm not sure if all their actions are malicious because they have smoked their brain cells away and act like toddlers, however I am over it and want them to be as miserable as I am. I am moving out in August and want to know how I can make their lives living hell, preferably with plausible deniability on my part.
