Hi, I was planning to build a new gaming computer and my dad bought monitor early as a surprise and gave me a budget for pc itself according to that budget I can get a pretty good radeon rx 7800 xt gpu(still haven't decided on cpu)build but I encountered a video on youtube saying this gpu is overkill for 1080p and then saw the monitor he bought is 1080p(model name is LG UltraGear 32GN55R-B)
I am concerned that this will limit my performance a lot so what would you guys recommend? Would it be really worth it to sell this monitor at a very cheap price(since it's already used) and go for a 1440p monitor instead?
I appreciate all the help sorry if my language is wrong.

Hello Everyone,
I am looking to do a mushroom trip, 2.5grams of Golden Teachers. I am debating taking them first thing in the morning around 9am or would I be better off taking it later in the day?
I am in a better place as I was pretty depressed with my dogs passing a week from one another, which is still tough but I have moved past the depressing aspect and have recently rescued 3 puppies who are absolutely amazing and my wife and I Feel much better.
It's been a couple months since any substance and recently have quit cannabis a month ago after 20+ years of daily use and have stopped drinking and have got back to my workouts, diet and business. I am in a much better place and my wife is going to be watching the puppies downstairs and is onboard with me taking them as I want to go inward and meditate.
Should I go inward with a mask or do you think it would be fine taking them and then hanging with them and my wife .... looking for advice.

I’ve done lots of research on this topic and am curious to hear different people’s experiences.
In my experience, the nature of being married to a MEM can be truly crazy making as I try to be gracious and understanding, but I also witness continual violations or outright neglect of what I would say are truly normal, baseline expectations for mature adults. I’m talking patterns in areas like: making sure you get paid regularly by your employer for your time, pursuing an advantageous career to help support your family, investing time in yourself (gym, reading, hobbies, whatever), pursuing medical needs for yourself, sharing house chores/completing them on a routine basis, and keeping your word (I know this is a struggle for victims of enmeshment), etc. and it makes me feel like I’m crazy because the dysfunction in those areas just gets reframed by them as normal and I get cast as too demanding for expecting someone to keep their word or do things all functional healthy adults would normally be expected to do.
If you’re a MEM or married to one, do you find you struggle with maintaining commitment, momentum, drive, etc. across life in areas like those above or others?
I guess I am just looking for validation that I’m not crazy for seeing certain patterns of neglect in my spouse. It’s hard being told someone will do things and then they repeatedly don’t keep their word, but confronting this even gently then leads to the conversation being transformed into one about how my expectations are too high to be met. No, they aren’t. I just want you to keep your word or proactively and openly communicate to me when you can’t or won’t do something. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Then we can have a real relationship even in disagreements; we don’t always have to see eye to eye. I don’t expect perfection or life all on my terms. But it’s like MEMs present a shroud of falsehood to hide their true feelings because they’re both disconnected from them and when they do connect to them they’re scared of engaging reality for fear of being hurt or experiencing deep rage from allowing themselves to be subjected to boundary violations and being victim to them. And it’s a shame all this is imported into marriage because it is not rooted in our relationship…and you can’t really connect with someone unless they’re real with you.

 | This distinguished gentleman was stuck being my best friend for EXACTLY 12 YEARS. like he had it in his calendar. — and I'm convinced he had one, as he was more punctual and into routine than any human I've ever met.— He also was the most patient and smartest boy I've ever met, as he'd never desert me whenever I'd love bomb him like a crazy person. Because I was his crazy person. While it's adorable and absolutely in character for him that he'd leave on his adoption day, it also was extremely sudden. He declined rapidly over the course of 24 hours. I hadn't been feeling well that morning, in fact I fainted right after getting up, so both my human best friend and my boss said I should take it easy for the day. I did a little bit of work from home, and when my mom came in at about noon, she said she'd found Kitty-Catward hanging out in an unusual spot. Last I knew was that he had had some fancy breakfast. I immediately gathered all my energy to go check on him, and persuaded him to go and hang out in a warmer spot. It took me quite a bit of talking him into it at all, and I became concerned and called the vet describing his sudden change in behavior. The receptionist was super sweet and said she'd make sure he'd be seen if I managed to bring him in. I had to call my dad for help as I didn't know how to lift him into the carrier. We did take him to the vet, but she said he's perfectly normal, as he did act very alert and just during the visit. (One of those perfectly chill dude at home, absolute wild panther anywhere else kitties.) We insisted that he's not, so the vet gave him some pain meds. when we came back, he didn't want to come out of his carrier, or interact with us. We decided to give him some space , and he did come and check on me for just a little bit. I asked if we're still best friends. He said yes. I didn't see him for the rest of the afternoon. I was extremely worried, as it's so unlike him to skip lunch and dinner. But given his avoidant behavior and the fact he'd cry if anyone but me tried to pet him, I decided he's probably somewhere taking a healing nap after the meds and the stress of the vet visit. I couldn't exactly sleep because I was so worried about him. A couple minutes past midnight I heard a noise that sounded like Kitty was ice skating on the hardwood floors. Followed by a kind of screaming I hadn't ever heard before. So I ran to check on him, finding him crumpled on the sitting room floor. I was in such shock that I immediately got my dad again. Thinking dad might do something I can't. He lifted Catward onto the carpet, and baby boy waved his tail bye bye. I think I kinda knew, but when I left to go to the bathroom, I head the kitty ice skating sound again and thought he might be following me. — unfortunately, he wasn't. This considered gentleman just didn't want me to go through the hassle of cleaning the carpet. In the morning, we wrapped him in the blanket I'd gotten him for his second birthday. I gave him some more head pets to take with him wherever he's going next. But I can't shake the feeling I could've done more. I hope I was a good mom to him. Hey guys, I’ve been playing on this long save, and was looking at the family tree, but there’s only “death by old age”, I want it to be a bit more realistic like, a death from electrocution or something, where the sim in question has a chance to die from the first attempt, not survive and get a buff thus making it a bit more unexpected.
I’ve seen mods like “Life Tragedies” haven’t tested it, but I don’t want to add more deaths or robberies and kidnappings and things like that, I just want the already existing deaths in the game to be more of a chance and not just to force said death.
Has anyone heard of something like that?

Tried to make an island green smoothie but replaced water with 1% milk. Any guesses on why it whipped instead of smoothed?
1.5 cups of milk 1 inch of ginger 1 Handful of frozen spinach and Kale each
Blended on low for a few seconds
Added 2 small ripe bananas 2 cups of mixed frozen fruit bag Tablespoon of raw sugar
It may have started to become frothy and whipped after the first blend but to be honest I was a bit sheepish and wasn't paying much attention. It wasn't until the volume of my smoothie had increased 5x during the second blend before I stopped blending and saw the resulting disaster.
