I have an app called ScreenZen on my phone and it's done wonders for my screen time. What it does brilliantly is that it restricts you right when you open an app/website, before your brain goes on a dopamine rampage. You have to sit there staring at a counter for 20 seconds or so until you can unlock the app/site for a few minutes. This also allows for the few times you actually need to use the app/site.
Now, I was wondering if something like that existed for Safari/Chrome/Firefox? I have now noticed that I still waste a lot of time when at a computer and that's when you actually want to do things, so it's quite consequential too.

I'm sorry, I am just done with HOTS. The lack of moderation is kinda disgusting. N words in chat, people just getting tilted and deciding to solo push lanes all game. Straight up AFKs when you start to lose, despite this game having insane comeback mechanics. To a lesser degree but running into 5 man stacks that all have 85% winrates is just plain wrong. When ever i see people mention this game on reddit, i always tell them to boot it up and give it a try, but I just can't do that in good faith anymore. If you're out there and having a better time than me, I am seriously happy for you and keep up the good work. But for me, it's just too much, im 30, i can't deal with actual man children in video games anymore.

Feeling anxious about tomorrow's appointment. It's my first time at Brides for a Cause, but not my first dress appointment.
I left some notes in my reservation, and called yesterday to ask a few questions, as I have a disability. I wasn't asking for crazy accommodations or something, and it's relatively rare that I feel "less than" for being disabled. Having worked in sales myself, it wasn't like I was expecting a ton of hand holding, or to diminish the other brides' experience. But the lady on the phone was so rude. And very clearly felt the need to put me in my place.
The closer the appointment comes, the more I feel so anxious about it. If my mom and aunt weren't so excited I'd cancel, but I also really want to be able to try things on and have an affordable dress.
Has anyone else shopped here (with a disability) and had it be a good experience?

For context, I ended off my Freshman year with mostly A's on my final grades, with 2 B's I believe, but I was in all regular classes (at least for my school, since all the regular classes are technically a year ahead). I have been working extremely hard this year, but my grades don't really show it. Based off the classes I have and the grades I got in them, what are much are chances in scholarship/acceptance lowering based off these grades. (Colleges I am interested currently are, CMU, Pitt, and PSU (State College Campus))

2025.01.24 01:50 ChesterDanforth Spoke to a License Insolvency Trustee and it looks like consumer proposal is not going to work....
I posted a few weeks back about getting some info on a consumer proposal and was going down this route but it turns out because of my rental property, I don't quality for a consumer proposal. I mean I could, but the creditors are going to want a larger payment on the CP and if they deny the CP then it goes to bankruptcy automatically.
Has anyone done a bankruptcy? I know this is the lowest of the low but I'm not in a position to borrow any other money from family. Seems like this is the best option. Paying around 7500 and debt free in 9 months rather then 5 years and 50K.
I haven't signed yet but I spoke to the LIT today and he will be getting back to me with more details as he had to change the proposal to a bankruptcy. Look for some positive vibes with going down this route. I know i messed up but I'm almost 40 and starting over sounds like a good idea.
