2025.01.23 22:15 ThrowRa_hahaiamjoke AIO? MY SITUATIONSHIP M20 TEXTED ME TODAY AFTER BLOCKING (F20) OUT OF THE BLUE
Okay so for context, he and I became friends in mid 2022. We eventually got close and I started developing feelings for him. It has been three years and I still don't know if he had feelings for me but we agreed to be in a situationship set up where we do everything that typical couples do but without labels (wanna preface by saying that sex and any sort of physical intimacy like kissing wasn't involved)
We would talk to each other everyday,flirted a lot and engaged in a lot of dirty talk.
So him and I belong to different religions. Our religions don't get along well in my country (avoiding the names of the religion for privacy concerns). So that built tensions. After graduating high school,i took a year off to prepare for an exam while he got into an uni and started befriending other people. He also took up a major that he absolutely despised due to parental pressure. Anyways ,this caused tension between us and we started fighting often
He met a few girls who belonged to the same religion as him and would talk about them to me. Atp we were still in a situationship so I was obviously getting jealous. I won't lie,I got toxic and would ghost him for days at a stretch. I also had no friends due to my drop year so i was emotionally dependent on him (not healthy i know)
After a point he actually started developing feelings for one of the girls. He then ghosted me and removed me from socials. I thought that he was burdened by his major and would send him cute letters to which he replied "I ain't reading allat". After days of trying to reach out,he finally responded
He started off by saying that he liked another girl from his uni and felt that the situationship felt like he was cheating on me and so he wanted to end it. I respected that and we blocked each other and went no contact.
9 months later,I had to text him due to an urgency (we didn't have any Mutuals through which I could have conveyed my urgency). It was supposed to be a short,to the point conversation. Conversation flowed and we agreed to become friends (atp i was over him and had just begun dating my beautiful boyfriend). Since I didn't have feelings for him,being friends wasn't an issue for me (also he is a great friend and has a dope sense of humour)
Everything was going great and one day we were playing and our SITUATIONSHIP was brought up. So while we were in a SITUATIONSHIP he would tell me how he would take care of his mom (who is very conservative) and that he would marry me etc. Fast forward to present,he admits that he said all that to make me stfu. In his own words,"I said what you wanted to hear ti make you stfu". This obviously upsetted me as he knew that I had feelings for him and I felt like he led me on. We had a huge fight after which we went no contact yet again
Starting there,he would try to reach out very often. He also texted my sister since he was blocked in my phone. Everytime I would give in as I really valued our friendship but we would eventually end up fighting and blocking each othee
After months of no contact,he reached out to me on birthday to wish me and expressed his desire to be friends. I was already tired of the on and off so i told him that this would be my last try. We then became friends and everything was going great
One day he texted me that he wanted to end our friendship as he was afraid of developing feelings for me and that everytime he tried to be my friend,the feelings rekindled in him. I was ofc surprised. He then blocked me out of the blue.
Now he again reached out and apologised profusely. I replied with "❤️🙏" and ended the conversation. He again proceeded to ask "do you fw losers" to which I replied, "leave me alone,have a great 2025". He ended the conversation with "what a shame,happy 2025 to you too".
should I go back and text him a nicer farewell message? Is it something i owe him or should I leave it at this? I felt like I was being taken for granted so AIO?

I got the saw from work and was given it for free as it had been run on straight gas. Took it apart and did a top end rebuild and now she runs great.

 | Just turned 30 and started working out a month ago for the first time in 10 years. I’ve had no physical activity at all since then, besides sex. For reference I’m 6’1” and 178lbs. I can’t tell if I have a big waste/hips or narrow shoulders or both? You can’t tell when I’m wearing clothes. Looking for advice on whether I should continue to bulk (I’m eating whatever but also making sure I eat protein) or clean bulk and lose the fat around my hips/waste. My doc called me up today to say my sleep score or ahi I think it was called was 118 which I’m not totally sure what that means but said it was really bad. My cpap is being expedited to me and the meantime I’m looking for advice on what to look out for and dos and don’t. I also have cats so I worry how much their hair can affect my equipment. All and all I’m excited to get on with this and super happy to find the reason why I get mad headaches that last all day.

Hey everyone
I started noticing symptoms of a bulging disc about 4 months ago. Long story short I have a smallish bulge L5/S1 but have been able to continue ballroom dancing while managing it.
I had a big week last week and it was great and danced 5 times this week.
Last night however, my cat was getting into something and I had to grab him quickly and he struggled and while I was picking him up he squirmed and it made me arch my back awkwardly. I've been very careful not lifting from back and only lifting from legs but because my cat squirmed I ended up accidently lifting a bit from my back.
It gave me a bit of a flair up of some icy feeling (neurological symptoms)
My question is, is this just likely to be a temporary flair up? Or could I have pushed and made the bulge worse?
My cat only weighs 6kg and I was definitely using some leg muscles and not all back as I started the lift correctly.

2025.01.23 22:14 AParkedChopper I think my Dad's showing signs of memory loss.
I don't know how to be sure but I'm worried. There have been a few occasions where he calls me, we have a full conversation, and then later he calls me again to talk about the same thing. Like exact same topic, same points, and with no reference to the previous conversation unless I bring it up.
The first time I chalked it up to him being deep in his cups on a weekend. This time it was in the middle of a workday.
I've been working with him lately and in person he seems completely normal. Remembers all his meetings, knowledgeable about his field of work, no issues. He's considered intelligent and competent by his coworkers. However I've also noticed his hands shake quite a bit these days. Also worrying.
I don't know how to bring it up to him or my mother. I don't want it to be real, but if it's Parkinsons or Alzheimers I have no idea what to do about it. It's just got me scared. I've heard things like dementia are just awful for the person and the family. It's starting to scare me.
I just want my dad to be okay, man.
