Hi there,
Female, 58 years old. I got diagnosed with osteoporosis a year ago and I am taking 70 mg Alendronate once a week, and taking calcium and vitamin D every day. My cholesterol is 200 and I'm doing everything diet wise that I'm supposed to. I want to take more liquid soluble fiber (Benefiber or a generic equivalent), but I've heard it can interfere with calcium absorption.
Can you tell me how to stagger my calcium and vitamin D intake, with my soluble fiber intake? My fear is that the calcium and vitamin D are going to bind with the fiber and wash right out of my system instead of being absorbed.

2025.01.24 01:39 Waste_Complaint4248 My GF 31F and I 31M planned a trip. 2 weeks before she changed plans. Should I be upset.
We have been together nearly 2 years and currently are living together. My GF and I got invited to her friends kids 2nd bday a couple months back. We both agreed and planned for it. I was looking forward to a road trip with her as we haven't had a actual vacation/road trip together yet. This is also the first vacation/roadtrip I've been on in probably around 3 years.
A few weeks before we are set to go her friend decided she and her baby wanted to come. Rather she was invited by the same friend around when we were invited. To make it easier for everyone my gf said we could ride with her. We could also get an air bnb all together. She decided this without discussing it with me first. She decided when her friend told her she was going as she wasn't aware before.
I'm upset because I was looking forward to having a road trip with her. I also don't like to be around people for a long time without having a break. I like to have my own vehicle as I don't like to be at the mercy of other people. When I'm done for the day I want to go to my own space. Some of these things are due to the fact that I have aspergers syndrome. I'm great around people but when I'm done I want to relax and be done.
I feel she didn't take how I felt into consideration and jumped to make her friend accommodated before thinking about want I wanted or how I felt. I feel it was inconsiderate of her as well as her friend for including herself in a plan we've had for months now.
Her friends reasoning is that she feels safer with me and having a man around. Her husband would feel better if she was with me and my gf as well. I understand and respect that and sympathize. I would have felt better about the situation if I was talked to before plans were changed on my behalf or if her friend ever made any effort to include me in anything before jumping into our plans without even running it by me.
Now if I go it will be 12+ hours a day with her friends. Maybe get a hour or two a day with her alone. It just doesn't sound like fun anymore. There's no balance. I'm also a bit hurt because I always put her before everyone. It feels like it's not always quite the same with her.
I was looking forward to the car ride together (8 hours). Being able to go spend time with her friends then going and being able to spend time with just her. This was supposed to fun for us both.

for the past six months, me and my homie have been smoking weed and drinking more than usual, but for the past three or four months, every time we get high or in an altered state of mind like off mushrooms, weed, alc, I feel like he has some sort of animosity towards me and even when Iโm sober now. I was really close with a friend before this and I felt the same thing and now we never talk anymore. 2025.01.24 01:39 Shibaspots Belated WIP Wednesday
This one is a bunch of firsts. My first larger painting (17"x22"), first DAC, first square drill kit, first with AB drills, and first time using a DAC putty pen.
I'm learning alot as I go and experimenting with different techniques and tools. I've learned to do the checkerboard placing to help keep things straight. I've learn how satisfying that 'click' is. I've learned I like the putty pen, except on ABs, because it leaves residue on those. ABs get wax. I've learned I can't use multiplacers. They always go wonky on me. I've learned different ways to fill in large blocks of color without getting too bored.
I picked this as my first DAC because it's only 15 colors and I thought that would make it pretty simple. In hindsight, it just means there's lots of color blocking. It's good to experiment on, but once this is done I don't want to see another large area of black or orange for at least a year!
How do all of you fill large areas of single colors? I have about a third left and am looking for ideas to keep me going.

Hi! I 14f have had a crush for for 5 years on my best friend. She is completely straight and doesnt like me back. My feelings wont go away no matter how hard I try, and Im scared of making her uncomfortable. When I told her I had a crush on her she was too scared to tell me she didnt like me back. We are still friends to this day, but every time I zone out or sleep she plagues my mind. I feel dirty and disgusting for thinking and feeling these things.
