I’m fundraising to replace my car after a startling accident. Due to a sudden medical event, I blacked out behind the wheel, veered off the dual carriageway I was travelling on, and crashed into trees. Thankfully, I managed to somehow escape any injury, but my car was a total loss, and I was forced to scrap it. As a student, losing my car has been a major setback, and I want to rely on the generosity of the kind hearted people of the internet as well as fellow car enthusiasts to help me raise the money - the funds will be used to cover the cost of a new car and insurance. Once I’m medically cleared to drive again having a car will allow me to regain my independence and put this situation behind me. A new car would mean everything to me, and I cannot wait to get back behind the wheel once I'm deemed fit to do so. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean a lot to me. But you. The Serpent. You slither your way to me every time. Taunting me with visions of your apple. Leading me astray.
Outside observers would call me an idiot. It’s so clear I’m being deceived. That this is the reckless road that leads to banishment.
But to me. It’s life or death. With its twisted tongue and entrancing eyes, I’m taking a step back.
But three steps forward.
I couldn’t resist you if I tried. I fell to my knees and put my lips as close to yours as I could. So long as they don’t touch, we’ll be just fine.
It’s chilling. Walking up to the golden gate, to His open arms, and to shake my head and say, “No”.
All for the serpent.
But when life has lost all its meaning. When the gate slammed in my face and I fell from grace. I saw you there. With your sickeningly seductive smile and the tantalizingly hypnotizing look in your eyes.
The truth was, I never stood a chance.
God put me here with free will. A choice. If the key to paradise is to resist the serpent.
I just may never visit his kingdom.
And I just may die in your arms tonight.

Recently stopped combination hormonal birth control pills at the end of my pack on January 12th. Previously had taken it for three years. Proceeded to have my normal “period” aka withdrawal bleeding between January 15-19. New round of BC would have started on January 20, had unprotected sex on January 21 using pull-out method “successfully” aka he definitely pulled out in time and then took a plan b within 24 hours because we should have used a condom and had anxiety. My question is I now have an IUD insertion appointment on January 31st. They told me I should wait two weeks after unprotected sex but I have a tight schedule and would be really hard to reschedule that appointment. Thoughts? Is waiting an extra four days going to make such a big difference?
