Hi all,
There’s something that’s been recently bothering me that I can’t seem to shake. I moved out of my hometown to a different country for about a year. I came back a few months ago and everything is the same, but I’m different. I don’t mean an “I’m better” different. I literally mean that my experiences have shaped me to become a more grown, well-rounded version of myself. I’ve seen and experienced things, I feel more worldly. Not to mention, at a young age I also lived in a DIFFERENT country for a few years before again moving back to the same hometown. So I’ve been in and out and my mold re-shaped each time. This time, everything feels different. I work 6/7 days a week, and the few hours after work that I have free, I like to spend alone to unwind. This seems to piss my peers off. Alongside that, I have tried to calm down with the drinking, but that’s all they do. It’s alcohol-centred around here. Not to mention they are just extremely judgemental, opinionated and closed-minded. Whereas I come from a pure awareness, no judgement and open minded stance. Trust me, it took some damn inner work to get here, but I’m proud of myself. Thing is, they make me feel bad for taking a step back, and I know for a FACT they talk crap about me (as they do about each other. Blind leading the blind). For some reason, I feel fucking frustrated and they still make me feel like shit? I know I can shake this feeling and clear my mind sometimes, but I still care about what they think about me for some reason. Thoughts?

Hi everyone, I became a Quebec Resident in the first semester and due to the Postal Strike was unable to recieve pieces of mail and didn't have my Maladie card yet, causing my request for the tuition change to be rejected.

Hey Reddit,
I recently got into a minor accident and need some advice.
Here’s what happened: I was reversing my uncles pickup truck to park in a free, empty parking spot on my right-hand side behind me. While I was reversing, someone on my left-hand side came and hit my front left bumper.
The truck has a few small scratches (barely noticeable), but their car has a palm-sized paint scratch. I don’t think I’m at fault since I was already in the process of reversing into the spot, but I’m worried they might try to say it’s my fault. A police officer came, but didn’t really take any report. He just told us to exchange insurances.
I don’t really want to go through the process of filing a claim unless I absolutely have to, but I also want to protect myself in case they do.
Here are my questions: • If I file a claim, will it increase my uncles insurance even if I’m not at fault?

Hello, my employer from years ago just settled a lawsuit some past employees made due to inconsistent work breaks and unpaid overtime and making us work on breaks. It seems they settled since I received a check a year later with that check was 2 W2 and 1099 attached. I need help, I’m trying to file but I’m getting an error since box 1 is empty. I have researched and found mixed anwsers but not all similar to to mine since I have money for SDI. I was hoping I could get some advice is helpful please.

Just curious how many people who have leased there cx50 ended up purchasing it after the lease. I still have two more years left and I currently have a little over 11k on it, when I leased it I decided to go with 10k a year, so I’m a little over. If I do decide to purchase that won’t matter. But the car does have some quirks that I don’t like, a new one that has started is it will panic beep like I’m going to rear end someone but nobody else is on the road. Most of the strange things it does are all electrical, which has me concerned long term.
