My 8 month old male cats forehead smelled like maple syrup yesterday for the entire day. I smelled it again today and back to his normal smell. Looking online freaked me out because I saw things like diabetes, keto acidosis, kidney issues and UTI, but he hasn’t shown any additional symptoms. Has anyone experienced this? He’s young, not overweight, eats healthy diet, etc.

HI everybody! I start therapy tomorrow. I'm going to be focusing on anxiety, neurodivergence and understanding autism more. I'll be getting tested for autism soon as well. I've doing a lot of reading about autism and I strongly suspect that I am on the spectrum. I get really anxious and uncomfortable when my routine is thrown off. I react very strongly to certain sounds (whistling, etc.) to the point where I get really angry. I have certain shows, and audiobooks that I watch listen to in rotation, pretty constantly. There's probably other stuff going on that I can't think of at the moment.
I'm weirdly anxious about the test. I'm worried that I want test as autistic, which is a really strange feeling. It would explain so much of my behavior and my mental processes. I definitely have OCD tendencies, though I know those aren't always connected.
Anyways I just wanted to share my experience and thoughts. I welcome any feedback, insight, or just others thoughts and experiences. This my first time ever posting on Reddit and I'm really glad I found this community.
