I started getting reflux after taking NAC for 5 days as prescribed before doing a GI mpa stool test. I was told this was due to NAC liberating pathogens etc and that its normal, and i may potentially have h pylori (wont know until stool results come out).
its been almost 2 months of this. have introduced throat coat, DGL, and psyllium musk and no improvement. is it possible im stuck with this forever?

I’m on a gap year right now and I’ve finished high school in 2024
I was always struggling with my mental health, having a 72% attendance last year and only properly went to a gp in August 2024 but never actually told anyone (school counsellors…etc)
And I’ve only been to my GP and the mental health team, but on the DARE application they said you need a diagnose from the psychiatrist, so idk what to do.
If anyone has been thru this before would you give me any guidance please! Thank you!!!

However, I’ve read conflicting opinions on whether it’s necessary to treat it with antibiotics, especially before pregnancy.
Some doctors say treatment is needed to avoid potential complications, while others suggest leaving it alone if there are no symptoms. I’d love to hear from those who have been in a similar situation—did you take antibiotics, or did you leave it untreated? Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey all, getting back into 40K and was hoping to get some perspective. I picked up the Custodes combat patrol but want to get a SM army going as well. I'm trying to decide between Dark Angels and Black Templars, mostly because I used to play SM long ago. But, as I'm learning more about both, they seem very melee focused (certainly the BTs and DWK lists for DA), and I know Custodes hit like a hammer in melee. So my questions are:
- How similar are Custodes playstyles with DA or BT? They might all have strong melee units but am I oversimplifying to say they play the same?
- Are Custodes simply "better" versions of the SMs (talking gameplay, not lore)?
- Will playing both Custodes and DA or BT have enough "freshness" or will it feel all the same?

I bought a new PC. When I watch YT or do some basic things the PC works great but when I play CS2 after a while the PC gets louder and restarts itself. Sometimes a black screen comes up saying that the CPU temperature is too high. I bought a new cooler and the GPU temperature is around 50, and the CPU temperature is around 60. Does anyone know what the problem is if it's not the GPU and CPU temperatures?

I’m stunned to think people believe Ohio State will start out as a top 3 team at the start of next season. This seams like a no different situation than last year’s Michigan team where both are losing a lot of starters. Yes, Michigan lost their head coach, but OSU will most likely lose their stud DC. Remember a time when they didn’t have Knowles? Michigan’s preseason ranking was #9 I believe, and they kept some stud players, 4 of which are potentially going top 20 in this year’s draft. OSU might have 2 maybe 3 or 4 at most preseason all Americans, as does every blue blood. They’re losing more than half of their starters as well as a good handful of backups. I genuinely do not see a reason for OSU to be top 3, but maybe that’s just me

2025.01.23 23:05 EconomicBananas I am 16 years old and want to beat the best savings account interest. S&P500 in a junior S&S ISA?
For some context(incase it changes anything): -I work 10 hours a week at a supermarket making a pretty solid £12 an hour, meaning I have some decent spending money.
-I am doing 3 A-Levels at a good college, that I travel 1h20ish both ways to get to.
-I turn 17 in just under a month.
-I also do some freelance video editing, but most of that money is being “reinvested” into gear and being separately saved to fund a good camera.
My question is basically the title, is it worth putting money into an S&P500, to sort of forget about and not worry over? I do not want to be tracking graphs and making short term decisions, if you get what I mean.
