Speaking via video to an assembly of global leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the new president in a wide-ranging policy speech did not mention the Fed by name but made clear he would seek lower rates.
“I’ll demand that interest rates drop immediately,” Trump said. “And likewise, they should be dropping all over the world. Interest rates should follow us all over.”

I know I'm not the only one who is tired of having people serve me with their face hidden behind a mask. 1. The pandemic has been officially over for 2 years , as declaired by the WHO. 2. Workers serving coffee look freakish with a mask on their face for evidently no reason. This goes for any job where masks are not needed for safety. Obviously doctors will use them in sergery, some construction workers need them, we wear them at Halloween as well. But we' re at a point post - pandemic where the behaviour is just unprofessional. It's disrespectful to good customer service. 3. It's SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND a person with a mask on. I'm so tired of having to get people to repeat themselves 3 times because their mouth is covered.
I don't know why people contune to wear them....Minus the East Asian - they always wore them. Everyone else has to either be trying to make some sort of statement...or they were traumatized by the fear mongering of Trudeau and the media.
Regardless, I think it's time employers start telling the servers, cashiers, etc, that you come to work with your face free, or don't come to work at all.

people always say to watch tv in your target language which is good but in my opinion an even better way is to play video games in it because you actually have to understand and apply the language. I switched my sims 4 to spanish and have learned a lot of vocabulary and more fluent ways of speaking.

B.H. We promised to grow as we go, just like our song. Love is a choice and I understand your choice. I smile for your own journey. And I smile for mine too. I will always be sorry. I think you know that without question. I wanted to share with you what Ive learned about myself and us over the past year… I loved the feeling of you wanting me to always grow. I hope you are learning just as much. Im sad I cannot spend it with you but that’s life, and I made choices that led us here. I know we will both make the most of this adventure in life. I hope we both love again with the same passion but new lessons.
Lessons I have learned --
Love is about giving, not expecting - Love doesn’t require anything in return and that its truest form is selfless. Even though B wasn’t what I hoped for, my love for B taught me that the act of loving deeply is its own fulfillment. It is something that I can give and commit to no matter the hardship. no one can ever take away. It is something I choose to give still.
Acceptance is vital in love and relationships - I valued B for who he was, faults and all, and wanted to be accepted in the same way. From this, I have learned that love involves seeing and accepting each other fully, even in moments of struggle and imperfection.
Communication and honesty are foundational - The challenges in our relationship highlighted the importance of open communication and being honest about my feelings, desires, and needs. I've come to understand how withholding truths, even unintentionally, can damage trust and connection which is the foundation of a relationship.
Accountability is key to personal growth - I have taken responsibility for my actions in the relationship, particularly around infidelity and communication; and worked to improve these aspects through small and consistent changes. This has helped me grow by acknowledging my mistakes, forgiving myself, and striving to make better choices moving forward, understanding the reasons why I made choices and actions so I don't make the same mistakes in a relationship, love or marriage again in the future.
Closure doesn’t always come from others - The lack of closure with B forced me to find peace and understanding within myself. This has taught me that you can’t always rely on others for resolution and that self-acceptance is essential for moving forward.
Love is not about perfection, but about growth - My love with B showed me that relationships don’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Even though it ended painfully, the relationship helped me see my potential for love and how much I am capable of giving.
Trust in my ability to be whole on my own - After losing B, I have discovered that my ability to love and thrive comes from within. While I miss the connection, I see that I am enough by myself and don’t need another person to define my purpose.
Boundaries and self-respect matter - B’s actions in the end of the relationship helped me understand what boundaries are and how they can protect your own sense of self and health; physically, spiritually and emotionally. I can see the importance of setting boundaries and protecting my emotional well-being, even with someone you deeply love.
Growth requires discomfort - Growth often comes through hardship. Discomfort is part of the journey to become a stronger, more authentic version of myself.
Letting go is part of loving - Love sometimes means letting go, even when it hurts. I want B to be happy and to find his path, even if it isn’t with me.
The past shapes you but doesn’t define you - i Understand how my upbringing and past experiences influenced my choices. I also learned that I can rewrite my story and grow from those patterns.
Healing takes time, patience, and self-compassion - Healing isn’t linear. I have learned to give myself grace, navigating my own emotions, my own loss, love and self-discovery.
In the end, the best parts of you will always stay with me. For me to believe in. I’ll always love you. It will change with time but I trust it will change just how it needs to. J.F.

I found this setlist from the first Wilco tour for AM. Setlist says the Agora but I’m pretty sure that’s wrong. I think it was Peabody’s Down Under. Definitely in the Flats. Outrageous Cherry opened that entire Midwest swing. I the ? song was a cover of the Mott The Hoople outtake Henry and the H Bombs. It had just appeared on a MTH comp as a bonus track. I recall this show probably started a little late because Ken Coomer missed the bus at a rest stop (foreshadowing) and had to take a very expensive cab ride to catch up.
