i wanted to just ask people that knew better than me. i took my car into the mechanic about a month ago, and they told me my drive belt should be replaced soon (my car was making a chirping noise at this point, still currently is) but he said it wasn’t anything urgent. with the cold weather, my car has been struggling, it being old and all. my check engine light came on a couple days ago, and i went to get a code read and this popped up. could this just be my drive belt needing to be replaced?

So I accidentally clicked a link and now this hacker was able to control my iphone 15, took a picture of me while I was changing, and is trying to blackmail me that they’ll spread the photo if I don’t pay up. I’m not sure what type of spyware this is or what the extent of their access is but I tried turning my phone off for the meantime. I purchased Certo but haven’t tried it yet. Does anybody know if it’s effective in removing this type of spyware? Is there any way to find out how they were able to control my camera? The hacker seems to know a lot about my information now :( please help

2025.01.23 23:05 Oferret_ Question about the Nomai writing and the Stranger
Since I started playing the game until today, long after I finished it, I still have a question: how does the Nomai writing work? Did the Nomai know how to communicate orally, or did they only know how to write? If they only knew how to write, then is the writing we find all that's left of them? I really wonder about this because I don't understand why they wrote so much. Some writings were dialogues, but why were they writing down their conversations? Some of it I get, like the ones with golden text indicating someone speaking from another planet, so they were sending messages to each other. But most of the time, they were together. Why were they writing if they could communicate orally?
Sometimes I understood that one Nomai would write something for the next Nomai to respond to later, then come back and read the response, and so on. Some of it also seemed like notes (like the ones on the path inside the Ember Twin). But in situations where it seemed like they were in the same room, I don't get the need to write.
Another question is about the dam in the Stranger. When we enter the Stranger, we see it's already cracked, but using the scout launcher, you can see the dam's integrity is still at 100% stability. When the Stranger starts moving away from the sun, the dam's integrity begins to decrease. Why? My theory is that it might have something to do with some effect of the sun's orbit on the Stranger, or maybe the propulsion to move away from the sun causes instability in the dam since it was already old.

Hi folks! I'm new and wanted to get some advice from some fellow GS owners. I'm going to adopt a GS next month. I've had 2 while I was younger but they were outside dogs. This time, she'll be an inside dog.
My question is are GS puppies easy to potty train? I live in an apartment (1st floor) and have no idea the first thing about potty training. My other question is would it be easier to get an adult instead, which I would assume would already be potty trained?
All advice and recommendations welcome....except for rude ones. 😊

If you have a question is it better to call local office or national? Spouse due to receive first payment next month and have a Medicare question. They don’t need Medicare yet and indicated that when applying. It shows the payment for part A as zero, but that the benefit will begin in May. Because we both worked at same entity (I’m still employed), they are under my health insurance. According to my employer when I retire he will have to go on Medicare and they provide documentation to allow that special enrollment. They are going to be 66 soon, but declined the Medicare when signing up for social security retirement because of this employment benefit rule.

My cat has to eat prescription cat food. It is wet canned food and he usually eats half the can at a time. The first half he eats really well. I put the other half in a tupperware and bring it out when he is hungry later but he then just picks a little bit then walks away and meows. I think it has something to do with the wetness/amount of gravy left on the second half.
I am looking for a product I can add to the second half to make it wet and entice him to finish it. Anyone have any recommendations? Or other ideas?
