My sister has been sending money to a guy in Uganda, who claims he's taking care of 21 orphans. Right now, he supposedly has malaria and typhoid, and says they don't have the drugs to treat it. Really? Uganda doesn't have drugs to treat malaria and typhoid? They're two of the most common diseases in that area. My sister is asking for donations for this guy. Does anyone know if he's legit? My spidey senses are saying he's a fake. What do you think? Is anyone familiar with this orphanage? Here's his Facebook page.
If he's legit, great. If he's not, my sister needs to know (although she believes every word he tells her).

I'm only half joking, is anybody else wondering if Will Howard's camp has some kind of arrangement with the show to talk about him so much? Or even just pushed someone at ESPN to suggest to Pat to start promoting him?
There's been multiple segments now just exclusively on Will Howard. The first few times was understandable since OSU started hot in the playoffs and he was actually a little underated. But the amount they've focused on him now has gotten to absurd levels.
It's Thursday of NFL Conference Championship weekend and they started the show off with a 15 minute segment on Will Howard. I'm almost positive I've heard them talk more about Will Howard the past couple months than fucking Patrick Mahomes.
Is Pat just trying to get the Colts to draft him or what's going on here?

I am glad Hildeby has been sent back to the minors to develop. I am starting to wonder though if he has the necessary speed for the NHL game. What I’ve heard from some guys I’ve met who didn’t make it to the NHL but were prospects at one time is that some guys just have the reaction speed to keep up with NHL shooters and some don’t. The AHL doesn’t always let you determine that so it’s probably good the Leafs took a good look at Hildeby over the past little while. While I would hate if we traded him he became another Tuuka Rask, I am not sure it will be the case with him. He seems more like another Jonas Gustavsson. Thoughts?

Hi everyone,
I've recently gone to an optometrist to get a comprehensive contact lens assessment, and have received trial contact lenses (Precision1). My left eye has astigmatism, so my optometrist gave me trial toric lenses for both of my eyes. I noticed both of the lenses have an axis of 180. Is there a reason for my optometrist to order an axis of 180 for my right eye? I am going for a follow up, but was curious if it is just a mistake, or if there could be an alternate reason.
My prescription reads:
OD: SPH -1.75, CYL: -0.75, AXIS: 2
OS: -3.50, CYL: -1.25, AXIS: 175.

Im currently trying to put together a gen 6 living dex alone (i have a friend i can meet one a month max to do trade evos) and mirage islands seem to be the main restricting factor at the minute. Im aware that changing dates effectively shuts down daily systems so is there any way to get multiple mirages with only one 3DS or at least influence which mirage i get day to day? Ive been lucky so far to get crescent isle, cofagrigus cave and unown cave.
