I charged my Arctic nova 5X for the first time. LED indicator was off. It was on the charger for a few hours. When I connect to the app, it is saying the battery level is 60%. It's also saying I need a firmware update for the headset, could that be why the battery level is showing wrong on the app?

Our crowning achievement in space exploration is landing on the moon. If there is any planet out there capable of supporting human life, and we knew where it was, we have zero chance of getting there for untold hundreds, probably thousands of years. We claim to be the most advanced species on our planet, but no other species inflicts more harm to our planet than humans. TV has been around for 80 years, the internet for 30... how advanced are we? Be honest, we aren't an advanced society at all in comparison to a species capable of traveling the cosmos to visit Earth.

 | Hi all. My dog (7 m.o. female GSD, ~60lbs) got spayed along with gastropexy about 10 days ago. We kept her cone on at all times and restricted her movement as much as possible (although tbh it was fairly impossible to completely restrict all movements). She was healing well, as you can see in the first image. But today I noticed a bump on her incision (second image). That dark mass in the image just seems to be matted hair. There also seems to be a little bit of discharge which seems to have stopped now. I called the vet clinic and sent them pictures and the vet says this doesn't seem like an emergency. My dog has an appointment tomorrow, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has observed this with their dogs? Any feedback or suggestions would be helpful.  | the only reason I installed was because it’s called “Tails OS.” Something was broken though because it showed a blue screen, and the icons were some weird symbol, but I figured out how to change it. I use Linux Mint, btw. I may do a full install Tails now because it’s really quick and I like the name. Little bit of a rant post incoming but I need to get this out. I’ve battled depression my entire life for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been very resistant to taking medication because I just cannot even fathom what it would feel like to not be constantly depressed, and I worry that medication will only add unwanted side effects while not impacting depression at all.
I lost my beloved companion dog of 13 years earlier this year and went into an even darker state than ever before. I finally decided that I would try medication. I chose mirtazapine because the side effects actually seemed welcome- I have always been underweight and had a poor appetite and I have trouble sleeping.
I started in June on 15 mg. I immediately felt an increased appetite and the sedation side effect. That was great. I was actually enjoying food more than ever before and could finish a meal and still crave more. I gained 10 pounds within a few weeks.
As I feared though, it had zero impact on my depression. In fact, I believe it made me feel much more easily irritated and quick to get annoyed with my girlfriend / co-workers. I stuck with it for a few months because “it just needs time to get into your system.” No change to my mood at all. I upped the dose to 30 mg
Tried that for several months and again there was no change in depression symptoms. Still depressed but with the added bonus of feeling agitated. Bumped the dose up to 45 mg a month and a half ago. Now I’m not even sleeping as well anymore but still finding myself miserable, angry, and hopeless.
My worst fear with these types of meds has been validated. I’m now stuck taking something that provides me with some sort of benefit (appetite and occasional sleep aid) so I’ll want to keep taking it but it’s actually made my depression worse overall.
What’s the next step? Adding another pill? Before long I’ll be taking a cocktail of different things every day and more miserable as ever.
