2025.01.24 06:51 CoolMyGuy99 Help Wire 2 Button Linear Actuator
I have never done any wiring but want to make a set of articulating wings for a cosplay. I see people use linear actuators to make wings that open and close and I would like to do the same but instead of using a On-Off-On switch or remote control, I thought it would be cool to use 2 buttons one controlling each direction. The costume in question is the Kingdom Come version of Batman who's belt buckle has handles with 2 buttons and that's why I wanted to do this method. to have a built in activation method into the costume. Does anyone know how I can do this? I am absolutely a complete amateur with no wiring experience so please be patient. All I know is i need to have the actuator connected to a power source and then the controller. Would a possible means to do this be using an On-Off-On switch but splicing the buttons to the respective sections of that switch and leaving it in the Off position so that when the buttons are pressed it sends the signal as if the switch was flipped to one of the On positions or is that not how it works?

Hi, so my apartment complex installed the new dishwasher when I moved in 1.5 months ago and because I have hard water apparently even with the finish hard water rinse aid it doesn’t make a difference with it or without it and they didn’t seem to care … so we don’t have plumbers or electricians there’s just general maintenance guys They said they’re gonna get a filter for me .
now as the detergent I use the cascade powder & I’ve used the pods. I haven’t used the liquid yet, but I don’t think it’s gonna make a difference … I put it on the heavy cycle and always put everything to the max, hottest setting, etc. It’s a GE
they’ve known this issue has been well over a month And yes, they agreed to put in a filter, but I mean is this normal to happen even with the hard water rinse aid? I mean, look at how some of these dishes come out. I have too much pain to be standing and washing dishes. One of my questions is You know I rinse thoroughly through things before I use them and if it’s not acceptable, I don’t use it, and wash it again but is this leaving residue that I would be in ingesting and would it be harmful?
I’m pretty sure I’ve lived with hard water before and I never had an issue like this with a dishwasher so I’m concerned. I’m not sure how much a filter cost but too bad rent ain’t cheap . if other people aren’t having this issue why am I? Lots of plumbing issues in my unit apparently. It ain’t just this

I see all over YouTube (at least in my home feed) catholics spending hours saying how they are persecuted and hated etc. while no you are not. Firstly yes some stuff may happen in the Bible Belt (in the Southeast of the USA) but that’s not hate. Is your house getting burnt down for it? Much of New England for example is majorly catholic.
Then historically there has been anti Catholicism of course. It was strong in much of the US and Protestant Europe maybe even in some other parts but those are the ones I know about. But then Protestants were literally cleansed and massacred in Catholic Europe and were branded as heretics until like the 20th century.
Many Catholics online somehow have this incredible victim complex lol. I mean I as a Protestant admit that we Protestants did some bad things to Catholics 300/400 years ago. But today nothing happens. I might get insulted in some ultra catholic village in southern Italy but I won’t go crying around about persecution.
Sorry that this somehow became a rant.

2025.01.24 06:51 DaveInOCNJ I only just noticed this now about combos...
OK, there are 3 types of combos (towards, neutral, and away).
Each of those 3 has several options (ex: Striker 2, Orton 1, Cena 2, Technical 1, etc.).
Here's what I only just realized...
Every Towards combo, regardless of which option you choose (see above) starts with the same punch.
Every Neutral starts with the same kick to the mid-section.
And every Away starts with the same high kick.
I hate the combo system, personally, so I don't pay much attention to it. But while editing a moveset tonight, I just only noticed this. Has it been this way since the combo system started in 2k22?
