My next door neighbour and I drive almost everyday in her car for 30 minutes at least and have been doing so for a little under a year. She is a very confident driver and has her car and drives very well. I think she has not practiced parallel parking well enough in my opinion but otherwise great driver. We just need to brush that off in 1 hour max.
She failed her practical test a year ago and is persuaded not to do her test at the same test center because it has one of the lowest pass rates in the country. Prior to failing her test, she was only driving maybe once a week, so a very different position to today. She is currently thinking of other test centers with a much higher pass rate to do her test there maximum 1 hour away.
The problem is that I start a new job next month and will be unavailable to accompany her to her test elsewhere or even locally. Infact, I feel like our daily drives may soon stop because my new job requires more in person attendance.
She doesn't have much money and needs the licence for a new career path she is pursuing. Her idea is to find someone local to stay with her an hour before her test, just to learn the route and then sit for it. She is thinking Malton or environs. She is a lovely person honestly and I just want to see her win. What can she do?

2025.01.24 02:51 moosehaed prints coming out under sized, too small
bambu p1s .4 hardened steel nozzle. Noticed I was getting some sizing errors in my print. Design something in fusion, import it bambu studio, print it in pla and my size would be off by up to .5mm.
Went old school and printed a chep cube which came out 19.96x19.96x19.99.
printed the hollow cube for testing extrusion. 2 walls, layer height .2, line width .42. Came out .80 thick, .4 mm off.
Did flow dynamics calibration and it was a toss up between .015 and .02. .02 was previous.
Ran flow rate and it didnt change from previous.
Im thinking adjusting the shrinkage and/or x-y contour compensation. What is the best testing prints to dial these in?

How can I switch my water bill from bi-monthly to monthly? Or can I add money to my account every month so that I don't have to take a bigger hit every other month? For example, I just paid my bill for the last two month and its says I owe $0. How can I add money to my water account every couple of weeks for them to use once my bill arrives? Yes, I could just keep the money in my bank account but I'm bad at budgeting (trying to get better and find solutions) and it always finds somewhere else to go.

There’s been an incredible evolution in drone counters ranging from electronic solutions to shotguns. Some nets can be seen in fpv videos. Mainly as camouflage or in front of doors.
What I haven’t seen, however, is regular fishing nets being used. I wonder why? They should be plentiful and very cheap. They should be pretty much invisible to the low quality drone stream (maybe that’s why I haven’t seen them…). They could be put up perpendicularly to the trenches to stop drones from flying along the lines. It would only take minutes to put up, just a few sticks to hold it or a rock to throw a corner up into a tree and you’re done. Since they are so cheap they could be put up all along the trenches. They don’t have to cover everything, partial cover should be enough for at least some area denial. Since they can’t be seen from the fpvs they should also work to discourage drone deployment overall.
I’m obviously not the first to think of this so there has to be something I’m missing. What?

Passive - More damage done at low health. (Lucario style, that Aura)
Auto attack Sword Slashes with the third being a circular cut for a little AoE.
Ranged skill shot Energy Blast that scales with hp lost.
Tis but a flesh wound, shake it off style heal, just enough to game the damage trade off, but on a long enough cooldown that it’s not broken.
This last one is a shot in the dark but one of the silly cloned flying horses he has on a Doctor Strange portal level cooldown. Just to get back to the fight quicker or flank the enemy team.
Ultimate could be an AoE blast that scales with the hp, puts on the armor seen above install super style, and either regenerates hp or prevents death.

2025.01.24 02:51 NoResult1253 Picked up a for parts valvestate 8240 what speakers should I put inside?
Got the amp as is and it didn’t work, just buzzed. Eventually found the wiring from the speaker to the 1/4” was shorted and now one speaker works but the other is blown. Nothing happens to the right speaker when I apply .5-3volts dc. The combo amp came with a pair of line 8 tube tones but one is blown.
Still need to fix the input jack (has some pops and crackles)

It is important I preface this by saying I am disabled and chronically ill to the point of being bed bound by my disease. This disease causes frequent unplanned ED visits for various test and well long stays after admission. ( 25f, 175 lbs, non smoker. Genetic pEDS and hEDS diagnosis. Meds eloquis and pain medication
Ok so, about a year ago I had one of these flares and was in the ED as per this evil illness, and had to have CT with CONTRAST of abdomen and chest. No biggie, had a million before right? WRONG. Had to be rushed back to my room, covered in hives and slightly more tachycardic than usual during my flares. Ok weird, but not too bad just some hives right? So I continued my yearly visits, when at deaths door, notating my weird and sudden out of nowhere reactions.
WELL, last week I was in ED due to a migrating DVT. “ Let’s pre medicate and then get you in for chest CT with contrast.” Okie dokie I’ll just be ready for some hives right? WRONG WRONG WRONG. I don’t remember much but I remember the monitor ringing like crazy and look over in a daze to see my hr is 220 and the nurses in the room scrambling talking about having to call code. My throat started to swell and I had the WORST rupturing pain in my pelvic region. Black out from pain. The rest is a blur. But aforementioned incident is charted.
QUESTIONS:
Why, after having so many CT’s with Contrast before, did I suddenly have a reaction last year? ( weirdly enough my mom had to be hospitalized last year and had the SAME reaction after having many herself as well )
Why was this most recent reaction the breaking point?
Is this normal? Is it the brand of dye? Bad batches of it? Please help me understand. My disease requires that I have future scans and we don’t have a plan of action now.
Please help!
