I have two Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 16IRL8 laptops with the same specifications, and I’m having the exact same touchpad issue with both of them.
The "Mic and other pointing device" driver keeps disappearing from the device manager. Earlier, I used to connect an external mouse, reinstall the "Mic and other pointing device" driver, and restart, and it used to work. But now, that doesn’t happen anymore.
To make things worse, the external mouse has also stopped working now, and the driver is completely missing from the device manager. I’ve also noticed that I don’t see the "Touchpad" settings under "Bluetooth & devices," like many guides on the internet show.
I’ve come across quite a few people having the same issue with this exact model, so this doesn’t feel like an isolated case. Someone told me it could be a motherboard issue—can anyone confirm if that’s true?
It’s so frustrating since these laptops aren’t cheap, and I expected better. If anyone has faced this problem and knows how to fix it, please share your solution. I’m desperate for help here!

I don't know if I'm late to the party but my son asked me if he could play the game on Steam Deck and I told him it doesn't work without doing a few extra steps installing it through Lutris. I promised him I'll do it tomorrow night since I was too tired from work but because I was curious to see if it now works straight up installing it from Steam I installed it directly from thr library. I told myslelf that if it doesn't work, I'll do the Lutris method tomorrow. And to my nice surprise it worked! Make sure to change the controls to gamepad before launching the game. Enjoy!

I saw him maybe 5/20 solo queue games previously, as you know solo queue is a slugfest, so it makes sense, I was fine with that, because sometimes I got to see games with less than 20 kills total hit 14 minutes and boom, i get my favourite adaptive petal dragon.
BUT NOOOO someone at this godforsaken f2p killing company has a hard-on for revives from Dota2 and made sure every game he plays there's basically a 100 percent chance of the Big Rev Drag gets activated thanks to botlane hating each others guts.
Idk what a better solution would be, maybe have it be if there are 20 Total kills before 14 minutes that would be voracious? Kind of like how they changed the first blood feat to 3 kills.
Idk am I being irrational?

Nan j'déconne, j'ai un vrai soucis.
Dans ma tête, tous les jours, j'essaye de faire des rimes qui n'en sont pas, car c'est super élégant à mon goût.
Mon soucis est que ce sont des duos de vers en général, mais je n'ai aucune inspiration, je n'arrive pas à débuter un semblant de poème.
Je n'ai pas envie de parler de moi, quand je le fais c'est soit dark, soit trop perso pour que ce soit compréhensible.
De quoi on peut parler en poésie ? On tombe souvent sur du soi, comme dit au dessus, mais aussi dans l'amour ou dans la mort, cette ligne un peu obligatoire de la poésie me fatigue, elle est ennuyeuse à mon goût, c'est du fait, refait, surfait, et trop facile.

Idk if I'd call myself a NEET but I am shut in all day and very unmotivated to participate in normal day activities like work. Well Last year November I got a job at a call center and was doing good for a bit, put some money into a car to get it running again and was feeling better in general even improving hygiene. Then one night I get pulled over and the car gets impounded and I had to spend a day in jail cuz I had a lil joint on me and I lose the job and the car. 🙃 I keep being told to not give up but damn I thought I was turning things around but it felt like I got kicked to the ground and spat on. Recently been falling into bad habits again and I'm worried about my mentality. I'm still trying to do better tho so that's something I guess 🫠🙃
