What is the reason behind no refunds if a race is cancelled? I’ve seen this statement more than once so I assume it’s typical. My first thought is to be turned off from registering for a race that states this but I know there must be a good reason behind it so what is it?

I love Astroneer, but after hours of exploration and building, I’ve hit a point where it feels like there’s not much left to do. Once you’ve automated resource gathering, the game starts feeling repetitive.
Why I think the game could use more content
- Lack of Meaningful Planets and Biomes: The planets look great, but there’s nothing specific or unique about them. There are no real connections between a planet's environment and what you do there. More biome-specific resources, challenges, or environmental hazards could make exploration feel more rewarding.
- Missions Aren’t Fun: Missions feel repetitive and don’t have the same creative satisfaction as building your own systems or collecting the resources to craft something, i.e the hydrazine jump booster, these are far more engaging than grinding through missions that feel like filler.
- Power Generation Balance: Tappers and medium generators invalidate, wind, and solar, making those feel useless relatively early. RTG are lategame and as a result aren't quite as bad.
- Environmental Discovery: Planets could use more to discover, especially plants and floral elements. Right now, plants are just decorative. Imagine if they could have effects or serve as resources for crafting—this would add more depth to exploration.
- More meaningful content: like new power systems, planet-specific gameplay, or rare resources, could be very exciting.
To sum it up:
- The endgame becomes repetitive once you automate everything.
- Planets need more unique gameplay features and challenges.
- Missions feel boring compared to the creativity you can explore yourself.
- Power generation options need balancing to make them all viable, at least through most of the game. Not necessarily calling for nerfs.
- Planets need more engaging environmental features, especially plants.

Hello everyone,
Today is my 4th day without smoking weed, and my first full day off of nicotine. I expected for my symptoms to be pretty strong because I have been using both for around 7-8 years now. However, the symptoms are getting to me especially hard.
I have little to no appetite and am trying extremely hard to eat, yet get nauseous every time. I’m also having trouble sleeping as every time I close my eyes my thoughts begin to race and I feel strong anxiety feelings. Lastly, I just feel like there is not much that is giving me pleasure. My gym motivation has went down, my libido has decreased and I just feel bored.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice to help get through this. I’m extremely thankful for everyone who posts here as some of your posts have given me some comfort that I will make it through. It just seems like as of right now it’s going to be a very difficult journey. Thank you all for taking the time to read this!
