2025.01.24 05:22 Ok_Pea4057 Injured wing pigeon. HELP! HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!
The pigeon was injured in its right wing. I'm not sure if it's a broken bone or just a very deep wound. Please help.
Pigeon can not fly but is still able to move the wing and dap quite a bit. The wing nests against the body fine, or ar least I think so, and it doesn't seem to be droopy. Though the bone does look quite protruded.
I did some reseach and so far I have put it in a box at a dark conner, gently and slightly cleanse its wound with warm salt water, give it crushed up peanuts, a little bit of sesame seeds, some broccoli, warm water with a pinch of salt and sugar in it.
I have never have any experiences with bird or pets before and really, really don't know what to do. Any advices about literally anything would be helpful and appreciated!

I am a sophomore who recently decided that the school I was going to wasn't for me, and I'm taking a semester off in the spring and hoping to transfer elsewhere in the fall. I played in the MCLA while at that school, and I would like to continue playing Lacrosse wherever I end up. Not to sound egotistical, but I am confident enough in my skills where I feel I could play D3 or maybe even D2 in the NCAA. The problem I have is that I want to contact some coaches and tell them about myself, but I don't have any film of me playing to display my skills. Does anyone have any advice for what I should do, or what information I should put in when contacting coaches?

Any of you carry an EpiPen since getting LC without ever needing one before or needed to use one for post infection related things?
Reacted bad to something tonight. Some throat tightness (what I was most concerned about), limbs, extremities, brain feels swollen. Movement of limbs and extremities still feel messed up with the resistance. Some tingling. Tongue didn’t feel swollen, but felt like it went wide and flat.
I went for the tablet cetirizine 20 mg because it was all I could find even though I have lactose intolerance and it overall makes me feel worse. That and famotidine probably 40 mg even though it didn’t really help me much before.
I think I’m going to be fine outside of a slightly higher heart rate and probably having to stay up all night now, but I’m considering getting a prescription ASAP.
