When I saw this video I was just honestly pretty taken aback. I know that both twins have obviously always been very, very slim and there could be a genetic component to it but seeing this just made me a bit concerned for her. Not sure if this post will be allowed, but just wanted to let you all know that I am back home, at the ER now and receiving care. I appreciated everyone that commented, but when I went to update the post was locked.
I got here shortly before midnight and I’m scheduled to see my surgeon tomorrow at 8am, but I still wanted to come to the ER first as many of you suggested. I like the idea of a second doctor giving an opinion on the surgery.
I could use a little more advice too though. How do I cope with losing my finger, or, heaven forbid, my whole hand? Anybody ever have similar amputations and can give me advice on what to expect?

2025.01.24 06:31 Front-Koala-8332 PM wants ETA for a project i have no clue on which step might take what amount of time
So i joined a new popular Travel company where i was assigned a high priority task of productionising an ML code in python repo.
First thing since i am a java developer, even with copilot on to convert ml code to a structured modular python code itself is daunting.
Second thing is i dont have much support in terms of someone i can get quick help on . There’s a team lead whose only tasks is to take my update on the development.
I am an sde-2 , and whenever i come up with an approach it’s rejected by him since there are a lot of problems with it.
But since there are too many steps involved and its a big tasks involving multiple modules . I am not able to come up with an ETA since i fear it wont work . Also my manager has assigned 3ptrs and to the story to add to the misery . I feel fucked and today’s the last day to submit eta and i don’t really know what to do.
Also , admittedly i was procrastinating for the most part of the week so that’s also a guilty thing from my side . But yeah now i need to fix . Any suggestions?

This is going to be a bit disjointed and a bit long so I apologize in advance. Also im typing this on my phone so sorry about the formatting too
I (20f) am currently in college and while the overall experience has been wonderful, I feel like things are starting to fall through the cracks and I am starting to slowly lose my mental health. Getting up every morning is a battle that I struggle to win. I love my classes and professors and I don’t have any problems with learning the material (gotta love being academically gifted), but I am so burnt out that I can’t get any of my schoolwork done and I end up doing it during my classes instead of paying attention. Doing anything, whether it be getting dressed, doing basic hygiene, doing laundry, cleaning my water bottle, or any other sort of basic task is incredibly overwhelming and I just can’t. I can’t do it. Every day is a fight to just survive. Get up, go to classes, go straight to work from there 3 days a week, and repeat. All in all it’s not really all that much, especially in comparison to things that other people have to do, so I feel guilty for being so burnt out and having to live in a survival mindset.
There’s so many good things going on in my life that I feel almost entitled I guess for being so burnt out if anyone understands. I am finally in an environment where I feel safe enough to be myself, I have the best boyfriend I could ever ask for and a beautiful friend group. I am healing from traumatic events that happened when I was younger. Classes are easy and I get the proper amount of sleep every night. All in all, things outside of myself are good. They’re great honestly.
Internally though, things just keep getting worse. I’m scared every day that I’ll hurt my boyfriend and friends, lose them, and be back to the same problems I left behind when I left for college. All that is convoluted and probably best off as a whole other conversation. And the aforementioned burnout doesn’t help
Idk. I just don’t know what to do. I’m just kind of crumbling and I don’t really know what to do to bring everything back on track. Any advice would be appreciated. Just please be compassionate, im hurting enough as is
