I was laying in bed, and out of nowhere my stomach starts to feel queasy and I’m having throat n. My throat and mouth also feel very dry and crusty. I was on the phone with my boyfriend, and while we were talking every time I would talk I felt like I was going to g. I’m so nervous rn, but I just want to go to sleep. I can’t relax at all, and my distractions aren’t working. I just need someone to talk to.

On my 24th day. A month of no smoking is so close. I was doing really well, except the occassional sadness, but then PMS hit me. Now I am more irritable, moody than before (when I was still smoking during periods). I always get fatigued, and brain fog during periods. But now it's on another level. And oh don't start me on the rage and violent fantasies. I think I have enough rage to single handedly dismantle patriarchal power structures.

He (M26) got orders to move over seas and told me I (F22) can’t go with him and doesn’t want to do long distance. We’ve been together just under 2 years, he isn’t leaving for another 5-6 months but we had a very long conversation about everything and ultimately decided that while we don’t want to stop seeing each other or hanging out, the romantic relationship is ending.
He says that he blames himself mostly. We had a similar conversation about a year ago where he said that he cares about me deeply but he doesn’t love me which hurt but neither of us wanted the relationship to end so we tabled the topic for another time. We both thought that something would have changed and he said he’s upset that it didn’t because now he feels like he wasted my time and wished he could have been the partner i needed/deserved but despite all of that, he was exactly what i needed and wanted in a partner.
I’m just at a loss for what to do now because there’s still a lot of time before he moves, we didn’t formally live together but I had/still have a lot of my stuff at his apartment, I went back after work most nights, I spent more time over there than I did at my parents house so now it feels weird not having that normal routine. I spent the night we talked and it felt normal for the most part, he just don’t kiss my forehead when he went to work :/
I guess one of the good things I can take away from this is that it wasn’t anything I did (according to him), he’s just never felt that way about other relationships but ours being the longest just makes it that much more painful. I blame myself for not talking about our expectations for the relationship but we clicked so easily when we first met i guess i thought we were on the same page to an extent.
He said he still wants to spend time together. “We” just got a new game console to play old games on a few days before he got the news which sucks but we’ve been playing every day since it came in the mail. We were both invited to his friend’s wedding coming up in a few months. We’re still going to go, we just haven’t said anything to anyone yet. He said his family is going to be really upset bc they all really like me
I don’t think he was expecting to get his orders this soon and I think we both thought there was more time? He said i’ve been his best friend since meeting each other and that he wouldn’t have done it (live in the city we live in) without me. He got very emotional which i wasn’t expecting. I’ve seen him fake cry for jokes but he was full on bawling. He said he still cares deeply for me and he doesn’t want to do this either but ultimately it has to happen.
I don’t think i’ll ever stop loving him or caring about him. It’s harder when there aren’t any hard feelings towards each other or no real reason to end things.
I just feel so bleh right now. Hungry but no appetite, nauseous just so lost.
Edit: I’ve been very emotional these last few days so i apologize if it seems all over the place, i just haven’t been able to think straight. We have also done long distance before for a little over 2 months when we first started dating. i told him i was surprised he even wanted to keep seeing me bc i know a lot of other people would have marked that as a deal breaker or something. idk if that helps at all i just want to cover most of the bases without any real identifiers, he also uses reddit but i don’t think he knows i post on it, he’s only seen me scroll lol
