Hey Iâm layla, I have been playing valorant for more than 2 years, spent more thank 1700$ on my account, I used to play in EU but 4 months ago I traveled to japan for 3 months and I changed the region to Asia servers to be able to play there. But now Iâm back in my country i have been here for 20 days and this whole time I have been trying to get help from riot team and Iâm not getting help, Iâm getting told that they will send me a password reset and when I change my password they will see where Iâm from and they will switch my account back, and I didnât that and they told me that I got VPN on ( I donât I donât even know how to use it) I told them that I donât they told me to try again I did and again they told me that I have VPN on, so I went to settings and checked to make sure and I really donât have. And the support employee just sent me a copy of the messages that he sent me before and doesnât try to help. Its really frustrating that Iâm trying to do something simple (change region) and its taking this long (20+ days) it feels like they donât want to help, I donât think that it should be like that.

Context: Iâm a student at a small community college in a rural area. I have always been super ambitious and going to college has been my goal for as long as I can remember. My mom just completed her journey at the same community college around 7 years ago, but other than that I have nobody else to go to for college advice or to tell me things like this. Also, I am not trying to blame any of the staff from the community college about this because if itâs anyoneâs fault it is mine for not checking on this better. I do get veteran benefits whenever I am in school because of my dadâs military service but I have to be enrolled in 12 hours to get these benefits. I really just need to tell this to someone and ask for opinions of people who are not biased and can give me some insight. Also I apologize if this is horribly written, I am still sort of in shock and my brain hurts.
I have been taking college classes as a dual-enrolled student since I was a sophomore in high school because my mom worked at this community college and I have always been one to stay ahead. Whenever I graduated high school I went to a different branch of the same community college, so I could live in the dorms. To stay in the dorms you have to take 15 hours a semester. My school has a December graduation and a May graduation but last October they told me I was supposed to graduate in December (which I was totally unprepared for because I didn't know I was THAT far ahead) So when they told me this I didnât even have a transfer school picked out yet. So I told them I was not prepared to graduate and they were like âokay, cool.â and we made a schedule of classes I would need for my bachelorâs degree for me to take in the Spring. Over Winter break I made it a point to find my next school and I toured a 4 year institution and it was a great fit, so I applied and am expected to hear back before February. Today (2 weeks into the semester), I was on my college's website looking through my statements and stuff and I noticed that my grant of $3,750 which is over half of my tuition was no longer on my account. It was showing up there the day before so I went to my schoolâs Fafsa office where at first they were saying âOh it will be fine, this is just a mistakeâ then they looked at my schedule and were like âNo actually, they took it away because you have too many credits.â Not to mention the Add/Drop dates for classes have passed so I might still have to pay $7,000, even if I do drop out. Went to talk to advising to find a plan and sadly, there are limited options. So plan A is to beg my professors to mark in the system that I am a âno-showâ meaning I never showed up for class and therefore would avoid the charges. Then move my stuff out of my dorm, come home and find a full time job, and save money for my school in the fall. Plan B is to put every dime of my savings, veteran benefits, and paycheck for the next 5 months towards the $7,000, and stay in school. Just for the record, I would still officially Graduate in May either way. Another thing to consider is that I could take the classes I need at my 4 year university and it would be covered by aid so it would be about $4,000 rather than $7,000, plus whatever I get for veteran benefits. Here are my concerns about both:
Plan A: I am really worried about taking a semester off because I know it will be hard to go back. My parents think I will have no problem going back because college has always been so important to me, but I am sure everyone who takes a semester off thinks that and not many people do go back. I am also worried that if I take a semester off, I will forget a lot of things and the classes will be too hard for me.
Plan B: I just think this is not as financially as smart for me to take the classes now. Paying $7,000 for a mediocre community college education is not a financially smart decision whenever I could just wait a few months to get a far better experience for at least $3000 cheaper. Plus having to pay a car note on top of that is sort of a lot.

Edit: Fafsa did this because you have to be degree-seeking to get any aid, and because my program was done in December I am technically no longer degree-seeking. Also, because my current institution only offers a 2 year program, they will not cover me taking classes for a 4 year program while I am enrolled there.

There's no way she's not even the best girl in DR2, Ibuki is so great, she's obviously in my top 3 Danganronpa girls. Her personality rocks (literaly)and she's so nice with everyone and full of life. I love how she uses her talent in chapter 1 to catch the blackened, but I only don't like one thing about her character, why did she have to die in the worst chapter :( Now when people think about her I'm sure some at least only think about chaoter 3 and that's really bad. I think if she would've survived longer she could've been in my top 3 characters, but unofrtunately she's not at all. I also love her design, from the beginning od DR2 her designed interested me the most (Gundham's too) and both of her Va's are great but why does she have that one sprite with Pinnochio'a nose it makes me uncomfortable. I also love her concert in chapter 3 ngl it's a banger.

I've (F35) been using Bumble BFF to try and make some new friends here in LA, and I matched with a white woman (F35)who seemed to have a lot in common with me. Iâm 35, and sheâs around my age, which felt promising because Iâve been looking for friends who share similar life experiences. She was liberal, a feminist, and shared many of my interests. She works as a high school teacher at a private school in Santa Monica, and I initially thought she seemed thoughtful and educated. We hung out a few times, and I thought things were going well.
During one of our conversations, I mentioned that I had been listening to a podcast I was really enjoying. Much to my shock, I realized it was actually a podcast created by TERFs (trans-exclusionary radical feminists). I was so upsetâI had been listening for a while without even realizing what it really was. When I brought this up to her, she sheepishly hinted that she had some "radical" ideas about trans people too. I wanted to stay open and at least hear her perspective, so I asked her to share her opinions. Thatâs when things took a turn.
She started by saying that trans women are "really men" and that she didnât like trans women in "female spaces." She also suggested that transitioning was a choice, like changing your hair color, as if it were that simple. She made it sound as though trans people were "appropriating" the identity of being a woman. Then she got into biology, saying that trans women are born XY and no matter what they do, theyâll always be "male."
In my opinion this argument was reductive and completely oversimplifiedâit disregarded the complexity of gender, which involves so much more than chromosomes. Gender identity is distinct from biological sex, and science has long affirmed that peopleâs identities are valid, regardless of their chromosomal makeup. Her comment wasnât just scientifically flawed; it was dismissive and harmful to trans peopleâs lived experiences. I was super alarmed and upset by the way she was talking. It was so dismissive and ignorant. I didn't say any of this to her as I didnât want to get into a heated debate, so I just tried to change the subject and avoid the topic for the rest of the night. I figured maybe it was a one-time thing, and I could avoid the topic in the future.
Fast forward to today. Weâre hanging out again, during a conversation she mentions that she is moderately liberal claiming that the left have gotten too far 'left'. I add to the conversation that I am as Left as anyone could possibly be and out of nowhere, she brings up trans people again. She asked me if I believed trans women belong in womenâs sports, she fully expected me to agree with her. I thought about it and said that I didâtrans women shouldnât be excluded from any spaces because they are women through and through. I believe sports should be about inclusion and equity, not exclusion based on fear and misconceptions. Most sports organizations, like the International Olympic Committee, already have policies to ensure fairness, including hormone therapy requirements for trans women. These policies align trans athletesâ physical capabilities with cisgender women, so the argument that trans women have an unfair advantage is not supported by the evidence.
I tried to explain to her that trans women should be included because sports are about more than just physical competitionâthey foster community, teamwork, and personal growth. Excluding trans women sends the harmful message that they donât belong, and that goes against the very principles of fairness and inclusivity. But she kept escalating, insisting that trans women will "always be men" because of their XY chromosomes. I brought up intersex people to challenge her rigid views, and she dismissed it, saying she wasnât talking about them, only about "XY trans women."
She was extremely pushy, trying to keep the conversation going even though I made it clear that I didnât want to have this conversation. I tried to steer the discussion elsewhere, but she wouldnât let it go. She kept pulling the "Iâm educated, I have a degree in biology" card, as if her education gave her a pass to invalidate peopleâs identities. I told her it didnât matterâher comments were hurtful and inappropriate. Then she said she was surprised I felt this way because I identify as a feminist. I made it clear to her that I am not a TERF and that believing trans women are women is one of the most feminist statements I could make. Trans women are not a threat to cis women in sports or anywhere elseâthey deserve the same respect and opportunities.
At that point, I told her I didnât want to argue or debate about it anymore. I was really trying hard to keep things civil. But instead of backing off, she escalated further. Thatâs when she brought up the idea of being "transracial," like white people claiming to be Black, and said itâs the same thing as being transgender. I was stunned. How could anyone make a comparison like that? Itâs not only ignorant but also incredibly racist. I told her, âThis is offensive, and itâs making me uncomfortable.â She repeated the comparison a few more times, doubling down instead of stopping.
Thatâs when I checked in with myself and decided, "Yeah, this is not for me." I put down my drink, got up, and started walking toward the door. As I was leaving, she followed me, asking, âAt least let me grab my things out of your car.â While she was getting her things, I tried to give her an out by saying, âYou know, you really hurt my feelings back there.â I was hoping sheâd take the opportunity to apologize or acknowledge what happened. But she didnât. Instead, she acted like nothing was wrong, ignored what I said, and told me, âSee you later,â as if I was the one having an episode or overreacting.
After I left, I decided to block her number. It felt bad because Iâve been really trying to make new friends, and itâs been so hard. But at the same time, I canât be friends with someone like that. I just canât. The whole situation is even more upsetting because sheâs a high school teacher at a private school in Santa Monica. I shudder to think that she could be imparting any of these toxic ideas to the children she teaches. Itâs truly terrifying to think about the influence she could have in that environment.
