Iām an experienced skier and I used to be a decent snowboarder years ago but I gave it up for awhile and Iām just getting back into it. After a few days on the slopes Iām doing greens and blues - nothing fancy, but I get down ok and Iām having a good time. So I figured Iād commit and get a board of my own.
After a lot of research I decided that I would get a Burton Custom Camber, and I found one used for a good price. Itās shipping out now and I should have it early next week. But now that Iāve purchased it Iām having doubts that this will be a good board since Iām still learning and the reviews that Iām seeing now (that I somehow missed before) seem to say itās more advanced.
I just wanted an all-around solid board that would do everything well and the Custom does seem like that kind of board. But is it āunforgivingā and will it make progressing harder? Should I ditch this board and get something easier to learn on? If so, what board? Is a Flying-V better for noobs?

Hey everyone! Currently new to the car searching journey and Iāve stumbled across a bunch of Subaru Liberty, otherwise known as the Legacy everywhere but Australia, and their look and performance have intrigued me.
Iāve been looking for one of my own as my first-ever car, as I will be getting my probationary license shortly. Iāve stumbled upon a 2008 Liberty, Heritage Model, all in white but it has some issues, which I will list, so I was wondering if this car would be worth investing time, energy and especially money into. The body of the car is in fantastic condition, with little wear and tear inside the car, especially on the leather seats which look surprisingly good, but the car has done around 208,000KM (129245 Miles)
My father and I have currently haggled with the owner to get the price down to AUD 3000, but that is without a current roadworthy and registration finishes by August this year.
These are the problems we found with the car: - Polish headlights. -Replace front hub bearings -Replace RHR driveshaft joint- worse case rear diff centre -Replace the cam belt and water pump -Clutch will require replacement eventually (next 6 months at least) - Tyres are needed to be changed
There is also one very concerning issue, a clicking noise can be heard @RHR as you reverse and turn the wheel- possibly locking up at the rear differential.
We would be doing this work ourselves but would this be worth our time, energy and money? Also forgot to mention it has no logbooks whatsoever, but the owner has been getting it serviced locally at one place for the last 5 years, and they reported that the car had only done 150,000KM by 2020.
Anyways, any help regarding this matter would be beneficial, Iām kind of at a dead end! -Christian

The car is Mercedes-benz e550 coupe from 2010 i brought it for headlight replacement and the mechanic tried to start the car with the headlight disassembled and now the steering wheel is locked and when i insert the key i get āRemove key from ignition ā and no response when i turn it.He is insisting it is not his fault and insist to pay to a certified mechanic who will come to the shop today to fix it.But i wonāt be paying this guy i believe it is the repair shop fault and they should pay.What advice would you give me to confront him.
